#09 is almost a complete circle from the original design. With a little refinement on the neck size/connection, it is pretty much the same thing, with more pillars, and a slightly higher joint.

Edit: I thought the 08 with the Atom mouth piece looked cool

The 08 looks cool, but i think the mouthpiece will get too small for a bong this size.

Yea ik man. It's all good. Just thought it was funny that we almost made a full circle back to the beginning hahaha

Maybe if we had elephant trunks, Glass-on-nose attatchments, we'd be able to hit #08 comfortably
Although it does FORCE you to look into the can if you are hitting it with your lips, so that's nice lmaoo



In all honesty, if we couldn't get the neck from the original möbius piece made, this angled straight neck would be my next choice. Definitely over anything coming from the top.

So here is a rough copy with adjustments to discuss (I have made 03 with a cone can, could it help?) Bearing in mind the arms been ugly but hey its a sketch

Perhaps the engine needs to have more power, stereo matrix style ???

The arms are not quite there yet, but too fed up with the twicking tonight

The mouth also would be better flared, for my liking, might change it later...

OH MY HOLY FREAKING HELL, YES!!! Perfect. Seriously, So perfect. Yes yes yes. Please. Pretty please. You call it messing around, I call it brilliant. Seriously, why didn't I think of that?

Besides looking just beautiful (the centered stereo matrix with the middle line between them captures perfectly the symmetry I was aiming for with my #2 suggestion), this would function like a dream. It would pretty much just fire bubbles straight up the tubes. Again, perfect. You'd get a bit less flavor than from a single matrix, but I'd say totally worth it for the function, beauty, and overall awesomeness...

If you put that number 8 mouthpiece on it it'd look right at home with mobius's new production line.
I'd love to put it right next to this guy:

Maybe I'm missing something with the atom neck if that's a good piece. Looks like a mistake to me No idea how you hit that without you're eyes touching the vape, or if you were smoking, without burning your nose on the bowl. Don't you have to be looking straight down?

That stereo matrix recycler is really nice. I'd personally make the vortex chamber smaller, but it looks great with stereo matrix perks, and they definitely do add some "horsepower" to the whole thing.

Also, depending on how it affects the vortex action, the neck might be better moved to the edge of that piece... Or not, if it works best centered.

Hey everyone sorry I had finals so I was barely even lurking around the forum for a minute. But now that everything is taken care of and I have free time again I stumbled onto this beauty. @oli full props on the photoshop skills. If you want I can try to help with designs as I took a lot of PS classes in high school and I love playing around in it. But as the real version is expensive and so is college Id need to find a free version to torrent (please pm me if anyone knows any good links)

I definitely am down to pitch in to get @blankrider some new glass to put under the tree. He definitely deserves it with all the time and work he puts into dealing with us in these forums then turning around and convincing the manufacturer to implement our changes. (Not to mention getting us a 5% discount code)

Personally, I'm a fan of dabbing so I definitely prefer my pieces to have be male and most nails I've used just feel more stable and look better (IMO). But as this is tailored to the popular vote I would agree with 18mm female since it's the most easily adapted w/o extra bulk.

I'm not sure if anyone has seen them yet but the providence perc by revere glass is absolutely gorgeous.

They vaguely show how it's made but seems like a modified, in-line, recycler?
They also have what they call "the grand daddy perc" which apparently is a self-contained recycling perc.

Kinda looks like a recycling diffusion pump to me but that's just my

Draw through the mouthpiece, while moving your vape to each bubbler, from back to front, and then clear at the end.

I've never tried hot water.. Wouldn't that just agitate your lungs more since the smoke/vapor would be a higher temp? @EverythingsHazy

It sounds counter-intuitive, but if the water is very warm/hot (not boiling or the steam will burn your throat, just about as hot as the sink tap runs), it actually adds a lot of moisture (humidity) to the vapor, and makes it feel thick and voluminous like a real cloud. It also helps keep your lungs and throat form drying out.

Really? Seems like the same concept as a humidifier (adding moisture to the air). Damn I think I'm going to have to try that. Does it have any other noticeable effects on vapor? Hot air usually expands so I wonder if it changes the quantity of the vapor. Maybe I'm way off but that might explain why the clouds feel more voluminous

I've tried the hot water thing a couple times, but for me it actually was the opposite of what people testify, it irritated my throat much more than room temp water. YMMV I guess, some here swear by it.

I use hot water for dabbing. I swear it increases your dab by a lot because its not letting the dab turn to reclaim. Idk if this is scientrificlly proven but I know personally hot water dabs are huge!
It was the only way I could smoke oil through a frit disc when I had one because the cold water would make the vapor turn to reclaim inside the frit disc.

PS to the grammar police. I'm always on my tablet so mistakes will happen often .

Ok that makes perfect sense. I know that the size of your rig actually makes a difference as more concentrate sticks to the sides in larger rigs.

On a separate note, how is the fritted disc? I love honeycombs so I've always wanted to use a fritted. After your last past it seems like they'd be better suited for flower.

You're corect. The fritted disc is phenomenal for smoothness with flowers. Its one of the smoothest rips but it does hit differently than any other piece. I wont use a fritted disc with concentrates anymore. The oil clogs the disc and it diffuses wayyy too much.

How are the honeycombs? I've never used one just because I was never a fan of the design.

Sorry to double post but I didn't know how to reply to a post and edit it onto my previous post. I like the stereo matrix but this will be a dab flavor killer for anyone. So much diffusion will kill the flavor. I liked it way more as a single matrix and feel it would have less initial chug and drag.
Obviously this is is being designed for what will sell best but those are just my thoughts. Still looks like a great piece and I may grab it. Thanks again blankrider for all this effort.

Honeycombs are basically a downgraded fritted disc. Same concept but honeycombs have less holes and the holes are much bigger than the tiny little ones on a fritted disc.

Pros- good diffusion, doesn't clog much if at all, no draw resistance, very smooth

Cons- only works directly upright, not as much flavor/diffusion as other pieces for same price

Gotcha. And by hitting differently I mean it was a weird chug and pull. I've hit a couple Goldstein's and other fritted disc pieces and they all had this same effect. I don't know how to exactly describe it.

Any ETA on when the diffusion pump will be available on dhgate?
