I think so ,too.
Particularly ,i'm really fascinated by the feel of the epoxy used ,when it cures .
It does not form a hard surface ,like the acrylics have.
Instead it remains "rubbery" ,almost "sticky" ,like being some sort of a hard silicone elastomer .
This tackiness is just awesome .Can't explain really why ,but it gives tons of "class" to the whole stem.
Maybe it's because it has that more "organic" feel ,rather being just a "cold "plastic surface
( like the acrylic aka PMMA ).
Still ,it is e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y resistant to scratches
and can withstand severe impacts with hard surfaces /objects .
The luster also seems to be very hard to fade away with use .
I'm quite thrilled with my own RCCT stems.
It's something totally new .
And awesome !

Sounds like that "grippiness" would really help with the way I like to spin mine when heating. Now I'm interested.

I'm not sure ,actually.
But it seems quite difficult.
You see ,The epoxy resin used for the composite hardens within 5 minutes @25°C.
Currently here in Greece the average temperature is about 30 -35 °C,
which of course makes the resin to hardenin less than 5 min.
So,I place the mica pigment on a tray ,then the two parts of the resin and mix them all together as fast as possible.
The already full-length-knurled titanium stem is being turned on the lathe at a low speed
while I'm applying the -still-liquid resin.At that point I 've to do the "tie-dye effect of swirling colors '.
Still,as you may understand I need the second or even third color to be already prepared
and to be applied on the stem in such way,that will not mix with the first one
forming this way a new hue.I need couple more pairs of arms / hands for that to be accomplished!
Furthermore ,to do the "tie-dye effect of swirling colors ' the lathe has to be stopped and the resin pigments to be worked (with a toothpick or something similar ) ,meaning to be mixed in a swirling pattern.
Can't do that while the lathe is turning the titanium tube (stem ) .
But if the tube will stop from turning ,the -still -liquid resin will flow underside of the still tube ,
due to gravity.
I've thought it myself ,but I've also to think of a way to achieve that.
It is not so easy as it may seem to be.

There are of course the epoxy & acrylic pen blanks with their awesome swirling patterns ,
which can be drilled at center and then be turned to round shape.
Finally the titanium tube is inserted and glued permanently in place .
But that is another kind of stem,already.
It's not a Resin Composite Coated Titanium ( RCCT ) one,
but a Titanium Insert Resin ( or Acrylic ) Composite ( TIRC / TIAC ) stem !
A whola 'nother chapter ,brother .

I'm still loving my Ti shorty, and you'll be pleased to know it gets almost daily attention
Everything has it's own time. So the tie-dye effect seems to be a project of fall/winter.
SDS, so far I understand your joy on working with plastic dont forget the all titaniums!
Of course I still make them .
If someone wishes for an "all Ti " stem ,
all she/he has to do is pm me.
BUT ...
I won't be making any "all-Ti " stems available at the classifieds anymore .
For quite a few of reasons :
- The challenge involved into making a RCCt stem is far more greater than making a simple
"all -Ti " stems.
Above everything (even money ) I'm making these stems to satisfy my
(endless ) thirst for creation .That keeps me forever young !
Actually ,the greater the challenge ,the happier I get !
In a way it makes me " complete " as a human being.
- They are more beautiful . They remind of really expensive fountain pens or something .
Very exquisite and stylish enough
- They are awesome in the hands .
Heat never reaches the hands and they are easier to spin and hold.
- The range of artistic expression is far greater and
the possible color combinations are endless .
Thus ,it's not that easy gettin' bored making them .
" Routine " is one thing that never got used with .
I'm in the constant need for new things .
Stagnation leads to decay.
Exploration and evolution form and shape the meaning of my life .

Oh well maybe my ideas can be implemented in rcct or other designs!
Just got a sample of Deep Blue ( or Sky blue ) glow-in-the-dark pigment.
It does not glow as strong or as long as the two other basic* strontium aluminate pigments ,
but nevertheless it's glow is awesome !
*There are only three Strontium Aluminate GITD pigments that are lightfast .
Yellow green ,Aqua blue and deep blue ( aka sky blue ) .
The rest of the GITD colors are a mix of these three with special pigments or dyes,
which are not lightfast / UV resistant .That means that after certain amount of sun / UV exposure
the GITD pigment will lose it's actual hue .
Yellow-green, aqua-blue and sky-blue pigments can be used both indoor and outdoor. Other colours are made from this three base fluorescent powders by adding to them additional fluorescent pigment that modify glowing colour. This additional pigment is not UV resistant so permanent use of this pigments outdoor (for example as a part of garden furniture) will slowly change glowing colour and finally pigment glowing colour will come back to base glowing. Of course occasional outdoor usage will be not harmful for pigment.

I would like to say thanks to @stardustsailor for both a great deal and great customer service on this beauty! Shipping was faster than I expected also.
He has come up with a texture like no other out there yet, at least I haven't felt or seen of? I like looks but touch and feel are also important
It is my favorite stem out of 6 so far.
Sorry @mrb yours has been holding #1 since The RCCT feels soft like rubber, yet much smoother to the touch. Has a nice grip too it, but still hard as nails. I have been trying to find something else to compare it too for an easier description but no luck
The Slim size is nice too, just a little bigger than the standard dynavap stems.
The anodized blue/purplish mouth piece is icing on the cake, absolutely beautiful
Anyone that needs a new piece I would suggest a RCCT stem, you wont be disappointed.
A standard length cigar size with a spinning mouth piece would make an awesome daily driver
