That case looks awesome. I like it just they way it is. I like the bigger pocket vs splitting it in two. Makes it more versital plus there are already 3 battery pockets. I also like the brown interior makes it easier to see items in the case imo. I can't wait to get my hopper so I can order this for it:love::love:

Heeeey, that really does look like a lovely case @Ratchett - a classic style for sure. It reminds me of a pouch I was given for my rolling paraphernalia many, many years ago . . . . it often got a surprising amount of admiration and respect when I would take it out of my pocket and open it up . . . . and I always loved using it. It was oldskool.

Oh, & by the way, I also rather like the layout the way that it already is. And the brown/black combo looks stylish for sure. Imo, the pouch in general adds much needed warmth & character to the cold, hard appearance of the Hopper.

Is there a place to store the silicon mouthpiece?

The "perfect case" for me would accommodate the gh, mouthpiece, one battery (or 2), doob tube (or similar small stash case), and place to hold my filling and cleaning tools (I usually use a salt spoon and poker from the Proto Pipe - in other cases I have, just an elastic band is used to hold these 2 pieces in place).

I think you could keep the leather colors basic; black or brown, maybe with a special order up charge for custom colors?

Again... LOVE IT !!

Sounds like most people like black exterior, brown interior - maybe I should just stock that color for now?

Well the larger pouch could hold the Silicone mouthpiece. Funny you mention Doob Tubes, I've got a case of clear ones coming. One will be included with every case :D (I have a feeling the battery slots will also fit a doob tube)

Yes there is a place to hold a cleaning tool, and possibly a small salt spoon in the space between the two batteries. Likely I'll be storing a single poking tool since that all I've needed to clean/empty my Grasshopper (no brush needed). And I suspect with a Doob tube, you won't even need a filling aid.

Custom colors don't really cost extra, just time. Looking to order a bunch at one time so he can cut all the leather at one time (less work for him)

Either or, both look groovy to me. Shoooot, I'd love a cow brand with MDCXX on it too if we get to pick and choose :)
@Mr. Me2 thought of a good little idea with the slot for a cleaning/filling tool. Just as is I would probably lay my tool right in between the batteries but it would be cool if that was where I could slide my tool in.

Damn...that's more than I was hoping, but they are so damn nice I think I am determined to have one no matter the cost. My baby needs a good home. Also, I like the big pouch the way it is, that's where I would store the condom

Ever since seeing the Grasshopper Vape, I KNEW I wanted to own a sexy leather case to hold the vape + essential accessories. After looking around, I couldn't quite find a Pen case to fit my needs (natch). So I managed to find a local leathermaker who is able to handcraft these leather cases for me using real American (Amish) leather! This guy is old school, but his quality is top notch, I was REALLY impressed with his leatherwork so much, I've decided to start stocking these cases on my store.

Here's a prototype of the case:

There's one slot for the vape, and three slots for batteries (or a special tube for herbs, which will be included free with each case), plus 1 large slot for oversized tubes (although I might split that pocket and make them two equal sized slots), and one mini slot between the two batteries to hold a poker tool for breaking up the ABV (which may be necessary for emptying the hopper depending on your herb)

We're tweaking some of the fittings (1/8th inch adjustments here and there, and swapping the larger pocket from the top to the bottom and swapping the pockets on top/bottom. But this is close to the finished product.

This guy does everything by hand, so changing designs takes a long time, I'm trying to finalize this before I order my first batch.

Also what are your thoughts on color? I know black is a popular color, but how does brown look on the inside or should I get Black on Black? I can order several different color configurations if you want (including orange and purple if you want some crazy colors!).

I prefer the overall look of the black and brown prototype, but I wish I could get it with the interior color of the double case

Lol, looks like I'm going to order several different color configurations, although I am trying to keep SKU-numbers low, here's what I'm thinking (buying equal quantities of each color, and will determine which are the most popular)

- Black outside, brown inside
- Black outside, black inside
- Black Outside, Red inside

Still waiting on my shipment of Doob tubes so I can confirm the fit before I order the final prototype, but I'm hoping to start selling these sometime next month

I'll see if he has blue. I'm sure gray is possible... maybe Gray and orange would be a fun color combination (I don't want to stock black/brown and black/orange - might lead to confusion)

Haha yeah I think grey outer orange inner would be gorgeous (blue interior would be really nice too if its possible, but I can only get one... Maybe one as a gift though too)
