Hell yes polished gold will be one of the premium option I stock. In fact I ordered the same quantity in SS and polished gold for both tools. I personally plan on keeping one golden Scoop-N-Stir from the next batch for myself.In other news, it seems I've finally worked out the issues with my Scoop-N-Poke design and they have approved my order. I got an email today saying my models were approved and being sent to the printing department. Looks like ETA on the Scoop-N-Poke is around July 15th.
Quantities will still limited, and as usual these will be sold first-come-first-serve. I'm hoping to place a HUGE order in August once I'm confident Shapeways can print high quality finished products consistently for me.
Woot! That silicone is pretty damn pliable isn't it? Happy to hear it does indeed work for a variety of vapes
I have to say that upon further extended testing, the Scoop'n'stir is amazing. It stirs so perfectly. Both my UD glass stems and Nano stems. Effortless stirring with no overflow. I finally broke the habit of reaching for a dental-type pick for stirring.(still use the pick to clean the screen). Now the 3 vapers in the house are always asking "where's the scoop thingy"?

Yeah I miss my 5th gen Scoop-N-Stir (now that I shipped them all out). I've been using an earlier prototype for the past few weeks and it's just not the same
Can't wait for the next batch to arrive in two weeks so I can keep a golden scoop for myself!
Edit - Just got the email from shapeways, my Scoop-N-Stir order is finished!! They actually finished my order 9 days early. I guess that's what happens when you order more than a dozen copies of the same part

No picture with solo stem, but it works great! Just used it on mine yesterday. Solo stem is a bit wider i/d than nano, so not as tight to the sides - but no problem at all stirring the load and even scraping the screen a little.

@Ratchett I know you got a lot in the works and have plenty of plans for the GH, was thinking back when everyone in the GH thread were talking about easy loading options. I think a silicon piece that tapers off into a point (like a slide/funnel) that can slide onto the GH case would be dope. Like you unscrew the compartment that stores the herb and you can just slide the silicon up a bit so that it is on the edge and you can tap it into the GH with the silicon slide guiding it making sure some doesn't fall all over (could be a piece that goes on the GH instead but then you'd have to take it on/off all the time, on the ss case you can just slide it up/down while keeping it on at all times)

There is only currently one size "Scoop-N-Stir", however I may develop other sizes if there is demand for additional configurations of teeth (this profile is rather small - 8.75mm max diameter doesn't give a lot of space for exotic teeth patterns

indeed I have had MANY requests for loading aids on the GH. Which is pretty funny considering only a handful of FC members actually have a GH in hand. Still, I've heard the calls and I promise I will work on an elegant solution once I have a GH in my hands.But I do like the silicone idea, that's the first time I've heard that one. Going to have to make a prototype silicone funnel and see how it works out

14mm Biohazard Stand
This was a custom request which turned out to be surprisingly easy to design from scratch. This stand has a 14mm female fitting, designed to hold a 14mm male adapter. You can also add a 14mm m2m adapter (not included) and convert it into a PNWT stand.

My second batch of Scoop-N-Stir tools have arrived! I have updated my store and enabled purchasing. Quantities are still extremely limited, so act fast!

On a different note have you ever thought about designing your own herbalizer magnetic bowl with male 18mm as sort of an all in one? Can you print something both metal and plastic at the same time or does it have to be separate? They sell circular magnetic rings relatively cheaply online. You could make the entire thing magnetic to avoid that poorly designed twist on mechanism they use now.

Yeah I've only had one Scoop-N-Poke produced so far, Shapeways was being a bitch about my finished design and kept rejecting my orders. It's taken me 5 weeks to finally figure out they didn't like the fine point on the "Poke" side.
There's a lot of designs like this I'd love to do but cannot because I do not have access to affordable high-temperature food-safe materials (3D printed stainless steel is safe as a scoop - not safe for a heated vapor path).
Moreover, while my 3D printer does have some multi-material capabilities (I have two print heads), the maximum printing temperature is around 260C - far short of temps required for printing anything metal. Moreover molten metal wouldn't really mix well next to cool plastic - I could see a goopy messy failure lol. And I haven't found one online 3D print shop which offers multi-material 3D printing of any kind, so we're still in uncharted territory there.
In this case, I think I'd approach the problem by printing a replacement top-half for the magnetic bowl (with threads to match so it screws together).
Once I find a high-temp food safe material to 3D print, naturally
Sigh, one day I'll have access to those materials (hopefully later this year). Until then, I'll continue to hone my CAD skills and grow the business working with the materials I have access to

After multiple rejected orders, I finally resolved the issue with my design and very happy with the finished product. I'd go as far as calling it the ultimate universal vape tool. (Although I gotta be honest, I'm LOVING my Scoop-N-Stir with the E-Nano).
Since they came earlier than expected. I was able to get the pictures taken and the page published in a few short hours. Allow me to introduce the.......

The gridlines is actually a knurl texture. Designed to give added grip to the scoop (and some style)

This is especially helpful with my Scoop-N-Stir tool - helps give excellent grip on your fingers while you mix your ABV.
Note, obviously my scoops are not knurled on a special machine as mentioned in the wiki, instead the knurl design is included in the design ("faux knurl" as someone else put it)

No the knurls don't help with measuring (not that I have figured out anyway), but the depth on the stir end is that exact same depth as the notch on the e-pik. And, that is AWESOME!!! Also have found that depending on strain and grind, scoop is a good measuring tool for your load. one scoop = a perfect small nano load for me if very fine grind, two scoops = a good load if fluffy and tamping down. I'm already almost to the point where I can look in the dish and know exactly how much to scoop depending on how material looks and what I'm looking to get out of it in that sesh.

I've also noticed that because I no longer use the vacuum load method, my screen's stay clean MUCH longer (haven't replaced mine in weeks of constant use). Couldn't imagine going back to my old toothpick method for stirring
Can you measure the notch on your E-pik? My pik is about 3mm longer than my Stir tool. I couldn't make it exactly 15mm in length due to some print issues, but a future version may be exactly 15mm in length once I find a different (more affordable) metal 3D printer

Ya know.. I hadn't thought about that and kind of remember you mentioning it before. But, I haven't changed a screen in quite a while either. Very cool!
Think this is my old original e-pik. Just a hair above 10mm to notch. S n S stir end to top of "plate" the tangs come out of is exactly the same. Am using a crappy ruler atm, so may be a little off. But, if I put the top of the plate right in the notch, the arm and tangs are at the same point if that makes sense.
EDIT: Duh!!! This may be easier. Am sure you know the specs on the Scoop-n-Stir.
