Creatine and Cannabis THC

Did anyone have any experience with combining THC and Creatine?
It appears that I get a weird experience when I vape after taking Creatine.
Each one on its own doesnt cause any problems, but when combined I feel like something hot is running thru my veins.
I feel like hitting the gas and the brakes at the same time.

I'm not sure about combining them, but I know creatine isn't that good for you. It's your choice whether to take it or not, but I've read up on it, and it can cause liver problems, and kidney failure, so watch what kind of supplements you are taking. I only take Optimum Whey Protein. I'm not sure if you're an athlete, or just like to workout, but Creatine is also on the NCAA''s banlist, so if you're going into sports, be careful about that shit. In my opinion it's just a racing feeling by making your heart beat faster with the combined effects of both. What kind of creatine do you take?

Apparently you read some old info because today Creatine is considered very safe. The liver and kidney problems are old myths proven to be wrong too many times. I have started to take Creatine only two weeks ago, but it looks like that it won't be a regular. I got the Creapure Creatine.
If you are thinking about your health then maybe you should rethink the Whey Protein. Of course Whey protein is the best, but not in the supplement form that you use it. When the Whey is turned into a powder, there is an issue with oxidized cholesterol. Look at your 100% ON Whey jar and see the amount of cholesterol it has. I have personally tried taking Whey powders many times, got different brands including 100% ON. With all the brands, I got the same side effect which is pain during urination. I never experience this except when taking whey powders. Today, I eat 2 cans of cottage cheese every day. I rinse it in water to wash off all the stuff they add like salt and other crap. This gives me pure and fresh Casein, which is in anabolic terms much better than Whey.

I take Casein, and Whey, and have never had this "urination" problem. That's something with you. I have talked to nutritionists, and read up, and stuff like creatine isn't good for your body no matter what they say. As for that "stufdy" There are millions of studies about diets, and nutrition, and they all go against each other. IMO taking anything isn't good for you, and should be taken at a minimum. I rarely even take the Whey anymore, but I have taken it daily, and I have no had problems or side effects. Each person is different, and it is probably something with you, and I would get yourself checked out if you have urination problems with it.

BTW, one more side effect of 100% ON Whey I had was an extreme sensitivity to the sun light (Israeli blazing sun), which indicates of some sort of neurotoxin effect.
You got right that my body is different. It is actually very different in extend that it causes me some major difficulties. I got these weird sensitivities to almost anything which is not a simple food. It is like my senses are much sharper than normal, I smell stuff others can't smell, taste, hear... also I "oversence" everything from within.
Don't worry about my checkups. Here we have free nationwide medical services and all my tests are OK.

creatine is very safe in moderation, just cycle on and off.
i dont notice anything different when i smoke on creatine...

My friends and I used to take Creatine back in the late 90's early 2k, but it gave us heart flutters.. so we stopped.

Fail, have you considered that you might be having really small kidney stones?

I use Creatine on a daily basis along with Whey Protein. I lift weights 3X a week, along with martial arts and my workouts are fairly intensive therefore the supplements. I take about 50 g of creatine a day, 25 g 1 hour before my workout, and 25 g after my workout. On rest days I still take the 50 g, but 25 g in the morning and another 25 g at night. The Whey Protein supplement at approx 55 g total I take every day once with breakfast and once with my supper. I consume about 0.5 to 1.0 g of herb per day with ave around 0.5. and there doesn't seem to be any interaction between the supplements and the herb.

Ive been using the creatine for about 7 years now on a daily basis with no side effects other than some slight water retention. The water retention enables me to keep a pump on through my rest days. The water retention also gives me a much quicker pump during workouts and enables me to achieve an additional rep or two during sets. It's worked for me with no negative side effects. This doesn't mean that it works the same for everyone. Just listen to what your body is trying to tell you.

Oddly enough, the only time i took creatine was part of my dillution method of passing a urine test for a job lol, it worked too. At least, i know i passed the test, not sure how much creatine had to do with it.

50 grams (omfg) sounds a little too much. I am taking one gram a day. And even this one gram gave me such flushes that I have decided to stop taking it and continue to use pot only.
Creatine acts in such way that after a certain amount it has no additional effect, like 3 grams give the same effect as 30.

I know that the net is full of info about using Creatine to pass drug tests, but if you learn about Creatine and learn about CreatinINE in drug tests you will know that it is useless for this purpose.

The creatine that I take is "Body Fortress", and I take two scoops per day. According to the label each scoop provides 6,119 mg of triple creatine matrix (creatine monohydrate, creatine ester phosphate, & creatine ethyl ester), so I would then assume that I am taking approx 12,238 mg per day in two doses.. Sorry, I got the creatine dose confused with the protein that I take. I'm easily confused and led astray.:p I havent heard that creatine has any effect on passing drug tests, thats a new one on me. I do know that it seems to keep my muscle tissue well hydrated.

Kidney stones can be really small or really big. Sometimes just really small fragments that might irritate when you piss. I had a friend who drank tons of soda and had that problem. It is based on diet. Might explain what is happening to you since you seem to have an altered diet... And its a better assumption than you having an STD...

Thats wierd because Cannabis is known to give users photosensitivity, never heard of creatine causing photosensitivity, St. Johns Wort will also give users photosensitivity. I know creatine has been proven to be bad for the kidneys when used for prolonged durations. I dont think when used for short periods it will harm you. Its like anyting else including weed. You gotta use common sense and dont overdo it. ;)

You got it wrong, read my post again. I got photosensitivity from 100% ON Whey.

I read your post. Dude, its not the Whey (or some sort of counteraction between the Amino Acids in your whey and the THC in your pot thats giving you photosensitivity), its the THC and nothing else. You probably had a strain really high in THC. THC will give users photosensitivity, even days after last use. It has nothing to do with strange counteractions. Your photosensitivity is from the THC and from nothing else unless you take something else that causes photosensitivity like St. Johns Wort or Belladonna (DO NOT TAKE BELLADONNA. IT IS A DEADLY POISON AND DOES NOT TAKE MUCH TO KILL YOU).
Thats a known fact. Dude, how long have you been using herb?? I figured out the photosensitivity thing like the first time I smoked during the day. The only thing to stop that from happening is to get yourself a nice pair of shades. :cool:

Also what I said about creatine also holds true as well. Look it up. You may be taking too much Creatine, or what your body feels as a normal "CREATINE FEELING" when you take it and work out feels totally different to you when you are elevated. Has nothing to do with counteractions and has mostly to do with the way your brain is interpreting the "CREATINE FEELING" when youre "Elevated."
Also I would not reccomend working out under the influence of pot because pot can mess with heart rate and blood pressure and you dont want to mess with those things when you are already elevating them simply by excercising. Wait till you're done excercising, take a shower, and then medicate. Trust me dude, this is the best advice you are going to get. You can overexhaust your heart if you excercise more vigerously and for a longer duration then what your heart can currently handle and when that happens people get heart attacks. Pot will double the risk of that happening if you medicate before excercising. Maybe God is trying to tell you something. Remeber its not the pot itself that is bad. Its the ignorance and misuse by its users that gives it the bad rap. Just use common sense and remember. Your body is not immortal. Dont take unnecesary risks and treat your heart with respect. You only got one. Also I looked over your original post again and that does not sound like you are experiencing a good feeling. Hot and Cold at the same time (Or Fast and Slow at the same time, however you want to look at it) is NOT good. Sounds like mixing uppers and downers. Isnt that how John Belushi died??
I know nobody has ever died from pot toxicity, but there are recorded cases of people suffering heart attacks because they had weak hearts and their hearts couldnt handle the raise in heart rate. Those cases are mostly those who already suffer from heart disease and are extremely rare, but add excercise AND Creatine and well... you get the picture...

This is very sad that I won't be able to use Creatine. I took it for two weeks and felt great! The physical and cognitive energy that I gained was really substantial. I was thinking that I am becoming superman.
It is clear that I am a responder, although I eat a lot of red meat. Actually most of my diet consists of red meat. It is possible that I have some deficiencies which cause the negative effects, but I think that I will never find out.
