Crafty+ won’t heat up after battery replacement

Hi everybody,

My crafty won’t heat up after replacing the battery. Gives one single red flash when I press the button then nothing. Connects to the app and I can get it to do a hard reset holding the button for 10 seconds. Just will not start heating. Temp reading is sitting around ambient temp of 22C so it seems to be reading temperature correctly. App diagnosis says no issues.

It was working without fault before I started modding it.

The only similar thing I have found online is one guy who replaced his battery and had the new one connected with alligator clips. Did the same one single red flash. Once he soldered the battery it worked though. I have ensured all my connections are good.

Any ideas?
