How to see that data on my Crafty?
The hacked app to get into the diagnostics mode. One of the other members did it and posted about it in the main crafty thread a few months ago. Youll have to look through and search to find it, I cant remember the details, and cant distribute the apk file as per creators request sorry

Forgive me @Stu , it has been many months since my last Crafty confession.

This morning 2:04
Same routine: fully charged, empty bowl.
Age: 8 months

I run this test occasionally for kicks.
Been hovering just above 2 minutes since odometer was 25 hours.
Last month it was 2:09, last week 2:07. WTF!?
Maybe "red means stop" is working?
Guess I'll have to buy 2 new Craftys and treat them differently to test.

Hi @biohacker , you and most others would not approve of my vaping style.
Stock temp and boost. Slow draw. Don't blow through red lights.

I'm like the world's worst mohel on my S&B vapes. I emasculate them.
My apologies to the parents, Herr Storz und Herr Bickel.

Random update. Here are the latest results:

The tight grouping at around 70 hours is me using my original Crafty with serial number 251 (normally it's used by a buddy of mine). It's performing quite admirably for it's age! I'm gonna name it @lwien. :myday:

I have sad news. Nothing more pitiful than an S&B fanboy like myself let down by his Crafty.
Just past 70 hours, my warmup times jumped to 2:20. Then around 76 hours, times fell off a cliff. 2:45 !!
Ugg. Submitted RMA, returned, will probably be told to pay for new battery. One year. Not too bad I suppose.

Yes, this well fucked hehe, for a long time was my only vaporizer, now that I have an underdog I'm giving a rest to the crafty, using less, usually once a day before were usually 3 sessions

The battery is still capable to endure three short sessions, or two long

I had to change the scale in order to include this one. Seems like your battery is about to give up the ghost. Your entry is rather easy to spot on the new chart:

Edit: I was baked and incorrectly entered the odometer number. Here is the corrected new chart:

Just got my new replacement Crafty. No charge, no hassle.

Used to be able to press button, bluetooth connect to check ambient temp.
Now with v2.10, pressing button, even quickly, starts the heater.
Temp changes so rapidly, can't see where it began.
My best guess is 1:35 on this new one.

I see several v2.10 folks here. Any tips?

This is how I feel receiving this new Crafty. Happy fanboy once again.

Believe me, @Stu , I want accurate timings too. It really bugs me.
May Oscar's spirit forgive me -- but I'm wilde about the importance of being empirical.

With my old Crafty, I enjoyed timing warmups precisely: Quick press to link with app, verify full battery status, then adjust target temp 160 degrees higher than current displayed temp. Then I'd exit that Crafty app, and use the stopwatch app.

Can't figure out how to do this with v2.10
I must be missing something.
And how do I check battery status without starting heater?

You could always check the ambient temp after charging to full, then re-charging for a few more minutes until fully charged again and let her rip. You can also use google's stopwatch on a pc instead of messing the the phone app. I've become dependent on it for my tests.

Question: Does the app stay connected after you've turned off the Crafty?

Think I got it now. Other v2.10 users, please correct me if I'm wrong.

To establish app connection, press once, it turns on, press and hold to turn off.
Then can adjust temp while unit off but app connection still active.

Wonder if this is a bug?
Can you folks provide a reasonable justification for this change?

I was in habit of single press just to connect and check battery.
Now I guess I have to turn it on then off. True??

Just got up, first capsule of the day. On charger now.
After I'm coffee charged and Crafty is topped off, I'll bump this thread with an accurate time.

Unfortunately, you're right.
Since 2.10 this is the new behavior, and when I'm wondering why, I think they were like:
"It's not a bug it's a feature"

i also have to turn crafty#3 on and off quickly to connect app
then see where it settles (usually quite soon if im fast) and add 160 to that
tho i didnt top it up in between

yea it does seem it was much more convenient before
- that quick light push to connect and check temp/batt/lights etc before actually turning it on

..but it does now seem to heat up faster
and you maybe get more bowls per charge

someone mentioned that the green light seems to have varying levels of brightness ..havent seen any possible explanations for that yet
