coolest vape?

This may be best in the ask fc thread. But I just got out of the hospital with pneumonia (thanks to a botched endoscopy). My lung strength is not good to begin with. I'm wary of adding hot vapor to my lungs. When I was at the hospital they gave me a piece of plastic -a nebulizer- that was a tube with vapor. I've never seen one before but it reminded me of a vaporizer.
I know that vaping depends on heat but I wonder if there's one that works with low heat.

...first off...sorry you had the unfortunate experience of pneumonia ...I hope you experience a speedy...painfree...low intensity...recoevery....that said...maybe the high-end desktops through water might be a technique to cool the vapors...wood scents I find kinda "light" on the throat....can't think of anything else besides those at the moment...you are a valued member of this forum...so please...take care of yourself...and have a good recovery....cheers!

I would say a good bag vape like the cano would be best suited - still creating vapour at high temps, but can be left for cooling down in the bag and still be used with water, also no draw resistance

Thanks. I totally forgot about my EQ because I've been mostly using tubo/MVT/Zion. I think the bag is pretty mild so that might work. I wish it had moister heat though.

IMO, moisture is the key.
Even 420 F vapor cools off quick, but it is very very dry.
Try vaping thru water first and experiment with temp as warmer/hot water imparts more moisture than cold water.
A moist vapor feels soothing !!

I always use water or would not be able to vape at all. But I'm not sure how to add moisture to the eq bag which I think is milder than most of the vapes I have tried.

Wouldn't this stock EQ piece work, all-glass miniwhip:
fill bag with it AND then use to connect to bubbler. Male end must be a 14 or 18 mm I assume??

Thanks I will try that. I always use Ddave's mods with the EQ but I have the original pieces. I think that might work although this is going to create problems with my VAS. Will try when the pneumonia is gone.

i had an endoscopy last year . ended up with a broken molar shortly after that im sure must have been from something during the scope . anyway its real easy to run the eq bag through water just using the stock piece that comes with the vape . not sure what its called , but the gong piece i guess you would call it . the piece that you attach to the cyclone bowl that has the silicone hose that you attach the bag to . you just lift it out of the cyclone bowl and stick it in a water tool its a 18 mil gong . i used to do it all the time .

the only thing is , i found that even with the cooling time of the vapor in a bag vape . even when also ran through the water tool didnt make any difference to the irritation from the vapor .

I tried tubing in the vapor Koozie and couldn't stop my herb from combusting. I haven't tried any factory made pieces on it yet but I imagine the water pressure would have to be the difference if you're getting good results. Is the tubing so much bigger? I've literally never used a glass water bong before

So the nebulizer treatment they gave you in the hospital is mostly 0.9% normal saline with either an anti-biotic, steroid, or bronchodilator mixed in. This may be a lot less irritating to the lung tissue then cannabis vapor. If you inhale anything which causes irritation to your lung tissue, it could prolong your recovery from the pneumonia. Are you able to substitute vaporization for ingestion for a week? I'd say it wouldn't be a good idea to risk further lung tissue irritation until your anti-biotic course is done and you feel almost normal again. If it were me, I'd wait like a week or two after my anti-biotics were finished. My

I find that a J hook works well to cool the vapor. It works well with most of my vaporizers. Also @Ed's TnT has some glass pieces that helps to cool. He has some Solo glass. I just broke my XXLbooster I bought from him and plan on buying another one. An extended airpath can solve some of the "too hot"issues with a higher temp, It's not always the vape itself it can be the shortened airpath.

Sorry to hear you'll be ok @little maggie I would definitely go with the Volcano for cool, effortless inhalations, can also be added to a water pipe for extra filtration (can confirm, my girlfriend has wicked asthma so thats her number one vape to use) other heavy hitters like the VapeXhale & mighty are too much for her lungs, & most likely yours too.

@little maggie the coolest vaporizer I have used is probably the Herbalizer, with the whip. It is smoother for me than the bags for some reason.

When I really want to cool my vapor I will use my FC-UFO bubbler and replace the mouthpiece with a section of longer whip tubing.

I don't know if you have the FC UFO but a good start would be using your Tubo with its whip into a bubbler.

@little maggie the smoothest yet the most powerfull vape I own is Apollo2 (with cooling unit)

I am unable to hit enano dry and through water enano is still harsher than Apollo used dry with his cooling unit in place. Apollo2 through water is very very smooth while delivering thick tasty vapor

IMO bag vapor is extremely dry, I think the right multi stage water filtration system would make any vaporizer cool enough.

I am mostly giving my lungs a break. But I discovered years ago that cannabis is the most effective antidepressant for me. It's effect lasts for days after 1 microdose so it's not about being actively "medicated". I've never been able to make sense of it. So I haven't used it again since that initial try with my tubo but I'd still be pretty miserable if I hadn't.

I guess I should've included Paka-cholo's comment about substituting ingestion as a temporary measure - but it sounds like you've (unfortunately) had experience with respiratory issues (sorry!) and are being careful.

your description of cannabis and depression makes me think about stuff I've read about CBD receptors (they're all over the body); lots more research is clearly needed, but what you said almost sounds like you're addressing a metabolic deficit. have you experimented with high CBD - low THC strains to see if they work the same way?

Why not blow up a bag, wait for it to cool down, then hook the bag up to water somehow. Best of both worlds.
or a log on low temp through water will be super smooth.

+1 for the Herbalizer being the "coolest, smoothest" vape I've ever tried. Dry with the stock whip is amazing. No draw resistance either and it even has a fan assist mode for a semi shotgun affect. I can crank this sucker to 445f and using the whip dry still produces no heat signature. Sometimes I wonder if the thing is on till I exhale. Don't pull...just breath.

Downside is it retails for $599 most places.

Is the woodscent one of your daily drivers? Ed's bog oak log is one of the most beautiful vapes out there. Just not mild enough without water. (Mine is walnut not bog oak).
