Basically everything that was PEEK in v1 is now ceramic in v2.

The glass stem will now also be ceramic which would make it more drop proof. I've smashed a lot of glass stems myself. hehe

Since the whole base is now ceramic, we have opted to remove the glass insert to reduce on the parts produced. So the part that holds the flower is now zirconia ceramic instead.

O-ring placements are all the same as v1.

I will try to recommend giving out extra o-rings and mesh screens for V2. We might be able to ship from Dubai instead for the v2 release.

For the custom made screens, yes they will definitely be thicker for the next release.
What are the dimensions and thickness of the o-ring for the bottom heater? The o-ring just pops out now almost making my unit unusable

Can we see some detail photos of the device? Especially interested in the new updates; ceramic base, new mouthpiece, battery door button etc. eventually it would also be interested to see a step by step of coil replacement process…much appreciated

Side note: I’ve used my V1 multiple times almost every day since it was first released without a single issue and the coil is still going strong, so I imagine coil change is not a frequent occurrence anyways

Are you referring to the o-ring above the bowl?
Yes, I bought a new device couple months back and the oring maybe too thick? I noticed instantly that the bowl was a little too tight and it took some work to swivel the bowl out. Then one day pop, the oring surrounding the heater on top popped off

in my experience, this happened to me seldomly when the bowl swivel was not aligned perfectly - which was often caused by the metal connector that clicks into the fins, perhaps play around with the position of the connector because that will affect how the bowl sits with the unit

I’ve played around with it. Even if I adjust it, it eventually pops out

For those of you who own the device, what kind of battery life are you getting i.e. how many bowls per full charge on average?

@Entheos Hex , are there any future plans to build a unit that will accept a 21700 battery?

I use the standard molice? Whatever it’s called lol. But I actually get about 10-20 bowls depending on usage. I use it as a one and done hit

Wow. 10 bowls on the low end is a lot, but if all your bowls are a one-and-done hit then I'm not sure I have the same vaping style. I use the Bowle2 which is a similar convection-only on-demand device but I'm at least taking two hits per bowl.

Yeah I have it configured to where it works like a TM but everything like a TB2

I would agree and get a minimum 10 bowls on a charge with a good battery. I typically run at 388f and take 5 rips or more per bowl. I have a Tinymight 2 and Tafè Bowle and I get significantly less bowls per charge than the V1 with those devices. The coil on the TinyMight 2 is much larger than the V1 and the Tafè Bowle is closer in Size to the V1 but has a small battery pack in comparison.

I redesigned my Tafè Bowle to accept 18650 and use a temp control chip instead of their electronics and it’s probably pretty close to the V1 in performance now

I was fortunate enough to spend some time with the V1. Absolutely cannot wait for the upgrade. Everything about this vape suits my vaping style. Fast to heat, easy to load, full convection, great ergonomics. Thanks Entheos for staying in the game. I will be looking forward to the release of the V2.

That's amazing efficiency with one 18650.

The Bowle2 has a huge battery pack so I guess you're referencing the Bowle1?

You redesigned your Bowle? Nice! Again, I'm guessing this was a Bowle1?

Back to the Convex though... 10 bowls with an average of 5 draws per at 388F is really great in my eyes for one fully charged 18650. Add to this the new ceramic parts and the retractable stem and this device is looking very good.

O-ring size is 18mm inside diameter, 1.5mm cross section. If you can send me photos via e-mail or Instagram, I could check what the problem might be.

Thrilled to hear that our heating system is performing overall better than other style heaters! The overall concept of the way air is sucked in towards the heater is actually something I got from the late Ghost vaporizers. Reverse engineered from some of the internal diagrams they released back then.

Is everything ceramic zirconia?! If so that makes this vape super unique and awesome, and if the stem is zirconia that probably helps cool the vapor? or is it just the part that holds the flower?
which is also cool

If the stem isn't zirconia, hows the cooling with the ceramic vs glass? If needed have you Tried adding in the stem some form of extra cooling, condenser/spiral/gems/ pills /balls?

I do have a few vapes but im in a 3rd-6th world country and always bought solid builds or fixable and always look and want just 1 or 2 solid all day vapes,

And even that... budget is tight...

Ive wanted the bowle since v1

But also know theres times when something more pocketable is needed

Have seen the token and convex for years and had my eye on it as either the vape instead of the bowle or with it,

I guess it has always been self fixable but now it seems even better with an easy self rebuild, and a much better build and much better materials then v1 and great battery ejection/loading, and solid shell that i like as is but that can be changed,

More Questions
Retractable stem hopefully has good cooling? thats the one thing i wonder about here how well this does? i like to use native dont like add ons.
Also will the s and b caps still fit?

This thing checks this and so many more boxes
On demand and fast, full temp etc etc

Lets hope theres some miracle pricing or early sales
I might actually get a vape like this that ive wanted for years

Either way looks great, good luck, i dont see why this wouldn't be a huge hit especially with the shell changes available, cause i know a lot of people like just wood or glass or metals but also usually like ceramic and i think love zirconia so that all looks good for the wider audience, and you can see everything and change the coil, and mainly the size, power, flavor, instant heat up and more oh and pretty good price! has had me wondering for years why v1 wasn't more popular even with the bulid complaints.

Is the ceramic chamber assembly like the V1 with the bottom that pops off for cleaning or is it one piece?

Everything ceramic I mentioned is Zirconia ceramic.

The ceramic mouthpiece/stem doesn't feel any different to the glass one for me.

I'd rather have the users answer regarding how cool the Convex vapor is. I have no other dry herb vapes for me to give a detailed comparison.

Chamber is still of course two piece part for easy cleaning.

Easier coil access actually also allows for deep cleaning the ceramic chamber that houses the coils.

Battery latch works kind of like those common clip mechanism that is used on backpacks. It flexes a part of the PA-12 Nylon main frame very slightly so the battery door latches on to it
