Well, my 'first unit' didn't last a week... and probably for my own good! It bit the dust yesterday and wouldn't heat up, so I returned it to the local head shop. They ended up exchanging it and $265 cash for a Vapormatic Deluxe (the cheap conduction vape was only $35). So far I am very happy with the Vapormatic. It was very easy to fill a bunch of bags up with. I made six this morning and went through five so far.
The first thing that I noticed was that the vapor from the Vapormatic is not smoky at all. The conduction vape with no temp control definitely produced smoke ....hey WTF I had no idea what the vapor should look like... I'm new at this. Cut some slack to the newbie, you were there once.
Okay, this was my first test. I set my Vapormatic at 350F and it worked great. Anything higher than that and the vapor gets smoky. I like the little drawer that pops in and out so you don't have to touch anything hot, and the two dials help dial in the perfect blend of air and heat with one dial for the fan and one for the temp. It took me a few tries to get the temp and fan just right, but now I am all set and getting good vapor without smoke.
Like anything out there the reviews were mixed on this unit, but so far I would give the unit a 9 out of 10 based on my initial experience. But then again I am new to vaping so that may not count for a lot. Maybe I should just give my new vaping experience a 10 out of 10!!

Does anyone have any experience with this unit?
So far, so good. I read a review that said something about leakage, but mine doesn't have that problem. Maybe some older units had it or something. Everything seems solid on my unit.
I hope I put this in the right forum.
Also, it does have a digital temperature readout that is hard to see in the picture above. You can set the temp readout for F or C.
