Concentrates on a Plane

EJ mix for the win. I just fill up an empty juice bottle and throw it in with all my other ecig stuff in my checked bag. If I am nervous about smell I top it off with a pretty strong smelling ejuice. I've had friends roll up chunks in cough drop wrappers and put them in the bag of cough drops. Also a great plan...

I'd try carry on but I feel deniabilty and/or playing dumb has better chance with checked bags. Plus one time at DFW I saw a dog wondering around....didn't have anything on me at the time but it does make me nervous about carry on.

Headed to San Juan puerto rico in a couple of weeks. Since that is technically domestic I won't have to worry about security at my destination, right? Not bringing anything back so not worried about dogs on the way there.

I'm traveling from Tucson AZ to LAX, going to Disneyland with my gf and have my AZ medical card and want to bring some concentrate with me there. Was thinking of putting it in a carmex container and putting it in my check in bag with my toiliteries. Anyone have any suggestions for how much I should bring, the odds, how to disguise it, etc? Just want some ideas from other people.

@Oh victor Just like you said. You have almost nothing to lose in AZ since you have your card there and you wont get checked LAX. Isnt it decriminalized in LA anyways.

What about concentrates on a cruise, or is that off topic?

I'm going to Puerto Rico soon as well and was thinking about bringing some shatter. Unsure how to go about it as well, I'm leaving from a non medicinal state which is the only thing that worries me. Wouldn't be more than a g but still uneasy. Keep us updated assman

I just was on a cruise. I brought my oil in a carmex case in my toiletry bag and disassemble my pen. Had no problems the whole time. Puffing the whole time on the ship and on shore
What kind of oil? Like shatter, crumble? Just wanna know what would look more like Carmex or what would look normal in there.

I used shatter and its was check in but it wouldn't have mattered. I couldn't believe how big of a joke it was.
How much did you bring with you? I'm thinking of taking a gram of shatter, putting it in the Carmex container. I should be good, traveling from AZ to LAX and have AZ medical card.

An eighth. And I was in Florida
Awesome, I don't think a gram should bring up suspicion, especially in a Carmex container. Leaving in 2 months still a lot of time to think about it, just definitely don't want to get caught.

@grdwaste Was it by chance Miami you departed from, and was it on carnival. Also I specifically want to know about getting back on this ship at a stop, what do they check/search.

Norweigien and it was Miami. They just put my bags through the scanner. When getting back on the ship we had to go through and on board scanning machine but it was the same process.

You should be fine I think. I was honestly SHOCKED at how minimal the security was. Leaving the ship into the us at the end my bags didn't even get scanned.

Right now, the focus is on weapons/explosives, not narcotics especially weed.
At least in most "civilized" countries.
Just remember that these priorities can change at a moment's notice.

I always put my pen in my carry on bag before security but not to long ago I was in sky harbor and had my pen in my pocket still. An officer with a dog walked right by me. The dogs nose was 3 feet from my pocket. Didn't even look at me.

Most of those dogs are trained to sniff for explosives or their component residues. The best way to tell what a dog is trained for is to look at the patch on the handlers uniform. If its TSA, or most others, its bomb stuff. If the patch says DEA then its drug stuff. Otherwise you just can't tell. Also, a lot of times when dogs make public appearances they may not be actively working at that moment. Dogs are allowed to have rest breaks and interact with civilians so just because you see a dog does not mean its actually at work.

A bit OT but I used to drive a tow truck eons ago and it was always the State Patrol or Local Sheriff's drug k9 on scene as I got out of my truck on a call. Several times the dog would sniff and bark as I went about my job hooking up and sweeping the scene as I desperatly tried to ignore it. LOL

Once, I made eye contact with the stater as the dog alerted on my pocket with his nose and quick whoof, where my pipe had been just mins before, but the cop just looked at me and smiled with a look like "i'll catch ya later"

Good times..

That's kind of what I figured but it still brought the panic factor up a few levels.

I'm going to France in a few months, coming out of Miami. Do you guy think it would be safe enough to bring a couple grams of wax?

While the carmex trick is pretty good,
international travel is a whole 'nother trip.

No pun intended;
I wouldn't do it :uhoh:
