Concentrate Pen Prototyping (Open to suggestions)?

Hello FC users,

The time has come to begin the engineering process on our new concentrate pen. Everything is pretty much ready to go, except for a few personal preferance factors. I thought it would be best to ask you guys what your thoughts are? Here is a list of what feedback I'm looking for.

1. Glass or ceramic bowl and air path? Any flavor differences you guys notice?

2. Aluminum or Carbon fiber exterior? In a toss up between the two. I am in love with an anodized aluminum look, but I like the durability of carbon fiber.

3. Favorite concentrate nail temperature? I really want to focus in on the best temp settings? I have my personal favorites, but I would like to hear yours.

Any other comments, input, or suggestions are welcome!

Personally I like ceramic, provided it's glazed. That makes it glass where it counts but allows for taking advantage of precision molded ceramic parts.

I think properly finished aluminum is cheaper and tougher, cosmetics aside

I'd start 370 or so and go higher than normal, perhaps to 450 or 460 even? If it's set up to preheat and 'do dabs' more than that seems appropriate? Personally I'm fine with 390 or a bit more.

A useful battery charge indicator is a huge plus IMO, without one it's not reliable.

Good luck in your project, always room for improved gear.
