I am still dealing with my ongoing pain and always end up finding this thread. How are you doing?
I just started taking my natural calm again last night. Going to try to stick with it this time.
Thanks for the info ! *virtual high five*Campers Crumpet said: "I have a low tolerance to cannabis so I don't need much".
You can consume it in raw form THCA (THCA=THC that has not been decarboxylated) and it will still have a medicinal effect without the high.
What is LFRV?
My only experience with accupuncture cost me $80 and offered ZERO relief. I plan on trying again soon with someone more affordable. You really noticed major benefit after ONE session?
Tell me about it. My dad got diagnosed with ms 1.5 years ago and we went off red meat and started low fat diets together. If i had to give up fish and chicken i don't know what i would do ahhh!I can go low fat, but I can't go raw vegan lol.
LFRV, I tried to catch one to eat its lean meat once but the sucker ran too fast for me and my roo to catchCampers Crumpet said: "I mean everything is illegal. Thankfully my pet kangaroo lets me stash stuff in her pouch. Have a nice Xmas brothers and sisters in vapingness"
If you can, vote the crooks out of office who want to keep cannabis illegal, otherwise take good care of your kangaroo!!! Is she trained to bite the cops and run if they try a search?
Seriously there is a strain that is now popular called Charlot's Web. It has very low THCA content and very high CBD's, just the opposite of a normal plant. A stoner wouldn't like it but it has been performing miracles helping kids and other patients who suffer from cancer, seizures, and other neurological pathologies. Some day there will be no debate, cannabis will become the treatment of choice for so many of the debilitating conditions that are now being treated with bottles and bottles of ineffective synthetic drugs.
Cannabis should be available in grocery stores and sold as a vegatable with a warning, "eat raw or cook at your own risk", ha!!!
BTW, one of the best ways to improve spinal balance is to do balance exercises on one foot at a time.
Merry Christmas!!!
What does it have to do with you or this thread? Basically a LOT of untold things can be causing our pain. Sleep IS important, so perhaps sleep and cannabis usage right before bed are an important factor like eating correctly (something I am yet to be able to pull off, but making gradual improvement) and other similar things we don't even think of.
If you are interested I'll let you know how it goes and if I find my pain decreases at all after a few nights without cannabis before bed. REM is important, and I've got about 10 years of missed REM. Maybe its not related, but drs can't find a cause, and the pain IS very real. Good luck with the ongoing struggle.
Did you feel any different giving up red meat despite not having MS yourself? How so? That is something I could definitely try for a decent period and see if it helped. It's hard, but not nearly as hard as no vaping before bed, when it helps me get to sleep so very much.
Trevor do you vape at night? I've noticed that cannabis has ELIMINATED my REM Sleep period for many years now, every single day. Just now am I realizing that is very likely intensifying my pain. If you look at fibromyalgia and MS and many other painful and hard to treat diseases, disrupted REM is a common factor in a lot of people.
Now the hard part will be to see if I can narrow down how many hours before bed I need to stop in order to have REM sleep. It should be very easy for me to tell. In the last 10 years give or take a year, I've gone without cannabis maybe 5 days? Spaced out, never more than 2 in a row. On every single one of those days I'll have acid tripishly vivid dreams. My night from 10 or midnight until 6:30am will feel like its been days. I'll wake up expecting to go to work and it'll be 1am and I'd only been asleep for an hour. Stuff like that. On any given night I don't have dreams (not just don't recall them either, I can feel when I had a dream and just can't remember what it was vs waking without dreams). I basically feel like I blackout for a couple hrs and boom its morning. I wake up exhausted EVERY day. Tolerance break days I wake up feeling like I slept for weeks, and a sensation of time practically stopping as I wake several times through the night. On cannabis before bed I wake up 1 time maybe. 2 once in a while. On tbreak nights its like 2 minimum wake ups, but I end up falling right back to sleep. Last night I tried 3mg melatonin, and vaped about an hr before bed. I felt like I had a lighter but much more "productive sleep" but no dreams. Tonight I'm going to try 2 hours before bed. Basically vaporize, watch a movie and check the clock and make sure 2 hours goes by.

These guys in Colorado had a whole greenhouse full of CW and would produce oil and sell it on a sliding fee scale to sick patients and parents who were giving the oil to their sick children. The parents were getting away with it because it did not get the kids high but it was having a profound effects on their disease. Be patient (but that is extremely hard to do if you are sick now) because doctors cannot in all good consciousness keep ignoring the effect cannabis oil is having on sick patients. Positive case studies are stemming the tide. CW is available here in dispensaries, they also sell clones.
Cannabis oil is extremely curative by nature, just put some on a skin lesion like herpes simplex (a cold sore) and see what happens. If it helps that much on the outside its a pretty good clue it helps even more on the inside.
As far as balance exercise is concerned I started by standing on one foot and moving around then challenging the "other side" to do the same thing. At first my left side was weak and could hardly do anything but it improved over time, and now I feel like dancing, ha!
It's such a foreign concept here that one could go to a shop and buy a joint, a clone and a bag of cookies.
I don't think the Australian government is anywhere near accepting that cannabis has medicinal properties. It was decriminalised for those with terminal cancer, however that was ceased.
Roadside cannabis testing, similar to alcohol testing is now being rolled out. However I've not seen or personally heard of anyone getting tested. But it's a $700 on the spot fine and 3 month driving disqualification I think. But keep in mind it's either positive or negative, so if one has had a puff two days earlier they still could get done.
So if you think about it, I can legally take my morphine pills washed down with a few glasses of wine then get in my car and drive.

There's a local advocate in NSW who grows to aid medical patients then produces a zero THC tincture and donates it to the patients. But he has recently been in jail for it, and is now being watched like a hawk by the local law. His website is mullaways medical cannabis. His strain he grows is called clever man but is grown with about 1:2 cbd:THC so I'm not sure how he processes the THC out of it.
But back on topic about pain management, I find turmeric works well, I make my own capsules.
