Compressed Air to Clean Vapes?

Was going to buy some for laptops, figured it could also blow out debris from inside my Tubo, but I see the air has a bitterent added, which made me think is compressed air even safe to clean a vape with? Anybody have an idea?

I have a bottle of dust off right next to me and it is COVERED with warnings about inhalation or ingestion. It even warns that you should wash your hands if it contacts your skin.

It says it contains Difluoroethane, I found some info on that here.

Sounds like it can be dangerous in decent quanities but can also be harmless or not measurably harmful. Of course I doubt anyone's studied what trace amounts of it heated to 500 degrees and inhaled does.

And that's all without knowing what the hell the "bittering agent" actually is, which I guess because they don't intend for you to ingest it they don't have to tell you much about it.


On the other hand if you have an air compressor in the garage for tires and whatnot, that's just taking plain-ol-air and compressing it so it should be perfectly safe unless you're worried about any particulate from the machine itself.

I have a bunch of these laying around for dusting out my pc occasionally. One day, after cleaning one of my glass pieces, I figured I would use a can of air to help dry it faster. Bad move on my part as it imparted a "taste" in my piece that was never there before. It was chemically tasting. I immediately re-washed my piece to remove said taste. I know I haven't added much scientifically here, but my senses knew this was not quite right.

I don't think I would ever use again for that or any other vape cleaning purpose.

Thanks, yeah, those aren't super cheap though and I don't really need or want it much at all. Will just continue using my own breath!

Compressed air, I dont think its just air, it smells bad, and I don't think it will help much, especially if its just for sticky residue (only alcohol can eat through that).

I have a keyboard/camera duster that's a rubber bulb that shoots out a jet of air when you squeeze it, works great for blowing stray bits of AVB and such out of and off of my vapes. Cost like $6 off amazon.
