No longer dogless
Not officially comic-book related, the full Kung Fury film is now available on youtube -
I say not OFFICIALLY comic book, because the Marvel references are so huge I am surprised Marvel let this happen. They own 'Fury' in relation to any character name or non-realistic action film; the theme song is Hasselhoff, who (horribly) played Nick Fury; Deadpool, Nick Fury and Cable have actually time-traveled to kill Hitler [plot of this movie]; there is what I swear to god is Devil Dinosaur stumbling through a city. And all THAT I gleaned from the trailer, not even the full flick.
And in actual comic book film news, Ryan Reynolds announced principal photography for Deadpool is done.

EDIT- and now that shooting is over, we finally know who is playing Colossus in Deadpool- Andre Tricoteux
And there is a puzzling article on comicbookresources where they wonder why Kang the Conqueror is owned by Fox, not Marvel/Disney. I am puzzled by the puzzlement. Though his first appearance was in the Avengers, Kang is heavily associated with the Fantastic Four - his last name is Richards; it is implied he is related to both Reed and Doctor Doom; he kidnapped Sue Storm and took her off through time; he first appeared under numerous other names (Rama-tut, for instance) in Fantastic Four. There is more, but that makes the point, I think.
As someone who works in the law, I find all of this bizarre. Had someone who was both a lawyer and a comic book geek been in the room when these licensing deals were signed, there would have been explicit character lists, not 'families' of characters only vaguely defined.
On the upside, if Marvel sues Fox over who really owns some of these characters (like Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, who both studios are using), just about all of the evidence will be back issues of comic books. I'd volunteer to work that case, just to read old Avengers, X-men and FF on the clock.
