My father just finished up this Gator. No dyes or paint. But it does have a light coat of varnish... Still a bit wet in the picture.

Most of the gator is black walnut. Belly is western cedar. Shirt is red cedar. The "F" is katalox. Teeth are white pine. Claws are white oak. The eye is cocobolo. The tongue is purple heart.

He is roughly 3 feet tall and varying in thickness to provide a 3D look in person.

He can make nearly anything he has a picture of.

So just to be clear on this. Nobody actually wants to see a picture of my wood?

He can make nearly anything he has a picture of.

@Krazy I definitely don't want to see a picture of your wood; but if you provide a picture to @WoodVillain s father then he can make you a model. It might come in handy when you reach my age and are trying to remember what it was like.

Sharing latest, a walnut slab side table. Slab shows graft of English and Californian black walnut, for resistance to rot disease in walnut orchards in early 20th century. The trunk "branched out" into two, and the butterfly joints follow and bind that split. A signature of this woodworker, Creations by Will, is the jewel-like resin filling in the voids

I have bad tremors, so apologies for the visual roller coaster ride, vomit bags available upon request
