Old School Cheesy Quaver
Having made a fresh batch of coconut canna-oil, I decided to make some cookies.
What you need
Oven - Pre-heated to 160C
Small saucepan
Baking tray
Mixing bowl
Wooden spoon
Oil slick - slick sheet (or grease proof paper)
170g coconut canna-oil
180g self-raising flour
80g porridge oats
175g granulated sugar
1 tea-spoon bicarbonate of soda
1 tea-spoon baking powder
1/4 cup of desiccated coconut
2 table-spoons golden syrup (treacle or maple syrup might do?)
1/2 tea-spoon vanilla extract
Step 1
Mix the flour, oats, sugar, bicarb, baking powder, desiccated coconut together in the bowl.
Step 2
Put the canna-oil in the saucepan on a very low heat and add the golden syrup and vanilla extract, till it all melts together.
Step 3
Slowly add the canna-oil to the bowl of dry mixture, stirring until mixed together.
You should end up with a bowl of mixture like this...
Step 4
Cut a piece of slick sheet and put in a baking tray.
Step 5
Take a handful of mixture and roll into roughly 2cm diameter balls and place five on the baking tray.
Step 6
Use the wooden spoon to squash the balls to a small 'Pattie' shape.
Step 7
Place in oven and cook for 8 minutes.
Step 8
Place on a rack to cool.
Step 9
Put the kettle on and make a cup of tea.
Step 10
Enjoy a cookie and its cannabis goodness
