Cobra coil

Is the cobra coil worth the cost for using with a terp slurper? Looking for something more convenient than torching.

Just depends on how critical you are - a lot of people use them and like them; but a torch will always provide a much more thorough heat soak than a coil with abnormal shaped devices like slurpers. The coils are focusing on heating the dish, when you really want heat in the tower.

The Dnail universal heating station is the only thing I know of that seeks to replicate a torched hit by using radiant heat.
I was working on a more accessible alternative of my own design for heating slurpers recently, but not sure there's enough demand to bother finishing the project.

This is the man to listen to right here. @invertedisdead I've been wanting one of those D Nail heaters but I saw you mentioned you were working on something on the P3 thread. Personally if I knew you were working on one I'd wait for that. I meant to say something about it so may be worth reposting that again, I think it got overshadowed by some of the other things being discussed like the smaller torch based TEDs.
