'Cleaning the tubes'
So, it's been so been as long as I can remember cleaning my tubing. I normally would soak it in iso and evaporate the remains, but I never liked doing that. I fear it damages the tubing and the drying process can sometimes take a while, not to mention the taste of ISO sometimes lingers in the extract/tubing.
Anyways,
So, I tied a tiny piece of plastic shaped like a plunger from a pen to a piece of thin galvanized steel wire and pulled it through the whip. It was such the perfect size that it basically squeegeed it all out.
I thought it was so clever that I should pass the trick on. Maybe others have thought of it before, but whatever.... if anyone gives it a shot, let me know. I wrapped up the plunger thingie and put it away for safe keeping. Handy device.
