You just cannot beat the speed and service of
@underdog and
@underdogette. They just will do anything to make you happy.
A full VVPS with the works is only 35 and another $12 or so to buy the wire on the UD site. It gives you the most precise temp control you can get as you have a HUGE range from super low 6.V or so to you better not go there 15v. $45 extra for that kind of precision is worth it for such a classy vape.
I have been keeping it about 12.2 but I need to dial it back to 11.7 or so as I cracked (but didn't break because of it's quality) my glass gong holding it there too long.
If I could make one humble suggestion, it's that they should reintroduce wood stems. I love
@Ed's TnT wood stem with his HUGE SS brushing. It actually goes around my standard core heater. I hope Underdog sell that design full time because it does such a fantastic job flavor and function wise. Not that I don't fully get into the glass, SS, and Nylon stems they already make, but I also enjoy having a wood stem or two with my Dog.
Yes it gets hot fast now-I bought my pup about three months ago. I mostly am using it with a HT Cloud Buddy, pairing it with my tube's. Flavor town indeed. I am sure a Nano is cool, but I love the home made touch and service you get with the dog. I also am sure the Hi is super nice, but when I want a new vape I really don't want to wait a year. With the Dog you have so many ready made choices you can play with, and even custom jobs are really quick.
So for me- you want a Log you get the Dog! No I am sure they are all good, but the Dog was best for me and it will work without any of the glitches the Crafty has yet to work out. I mean temp control by blue tooth is interesting, but I prefer reaching over to my VVPS dial and turning it without thinking any more about it. Hell I am turning 40 my phone isn't even smart, I work at home, and enjoy collecting records, books, and DVD, some video games, and vaping. I like being at home so yes I have one of thos enice sounding CLEAR landlines, and a really neat thing called a turntable that doesn'y play digital samples of music, but actual music.
I also know my vapor path is far cleaner and clearer with a Dog than with a Crafty. Nobody would ever credibly say it's any weaker or less efficient with herb either. The dog is a different sort of pack with your loading being sucking your herb into a wand It's hard at first to get the right grind, or to know the exact amount you want as far as getting the best session length vrs best air flow. However, once you realize what works best in each stem, it will become natural.
