Choosing a new vape to help me love flower again

For those that don't want to comment, here are some choices I have thought up

So, I rock an amazing dab rig and now want a flower counterpart. I miss the heavy behind the eyes feeling of flower, and would like to put it back into rotation. I have a SSV but I find the whip to be finicky, and I think that vape tech has come along way in providing a more powerful and efficient experience. I have been eyeing the Plenty, the Weedeater, or perhaps a sticky brick (I have seen some huge hits taken with technique mastered)? I need it to be as potent as it can be, easy to synch up with water, and relatively easy to clean. I am not looking for a portable, but if one would fit the bill, give it a shout out. 300 dollars is my ceiling. Thanks gang!

My first vape was the DaBuddha, very similar to the SSV. While several portables followed the Herbalizer (No longer in production) became my second go to desktop which was followed years later by the NewVape FlowerPot. Needless to say I am now a huge NewVape fan and also own the WeedEater. The only cleaning you should find your self doing with the WE is your glass and occasionally the bowl. Really versatile vape that does not disappoint and will last a lifetime. As you mentioned you already have a dab rig, if you have a controller and 20mm coil you have half of what you need. Do make sure you include double weave screens and a fine grinder if you go the WE route

I also own several Splinter Zs and while they are great, they can be a bit fidgety. By the time you place atty on a mod and then add a stem you’re walking around with a saber. If left standing the whole thing can fall over breaking your stem. My biggest pet peeve is the stem does not have a lot of grab to it, meaning it can fall out if you happen to tip the vape too much or introduce some vibration. Touch wood I have not broken a stem yet. Don’t get me wrong here, aside from my FlowerPot my Splinter gets the second most use of all my vapes. It joints hard, with lost of flavor.

The closest I've ever gotten to the same feeling as a combustion based bong rip - Cloud Evo. IMO one of the best vapes for "savoring" a flower session.

I just had some overnight visitors who mostly do legal dispensary oil cartridges. I introduced them to my high end flower vapes and the one they fell in love with was the Evo. The comment was "I don't do flower much anymore but I gotta pick up that Evo and some flower now".

In that case you would be much better off with a vape that includes a conduction component. I don't think anything could penetrate better than a Supreme, as much as I hate the owner. You don't even need to grind it's so powerful! However, with your tolerance and amount of extracts you hit, i'm not even sure you'll feel flower.

I really enjoy my flower mate V5 nano. Thing is so easy to use. Clean. And the taste is pretty damn good as well.

I voted WeedEater (or other FlowerPot)? and my FlowerPots are the hardest hitting vaporizers I have, but I agree with @biohacker that you may be looking for effects from conduction heating so you may want to get something that’s conduction or hybrid instead of anything you mentioned.

You could pre-heat the FlowerPot’s bowl to add some conduction, but I haven’t really experimented with that so I can’t tell you how much of a conduction effect that would give you.

I also hear the StickyBricks are very good, but you should be aware that the output of your torch is going directly into the air intake, so if there is unburned butane or if there are butane combustion byproducts in the air, you’re breathing them in. At least some people say they taste the butane (which may depend on the torch), so it’s at least something to consider.

that's actually a good idea, I remember doing that back in my FP days. I think that the herb quality will make an ever bigger difference, as the SSV is capable of some heavy duty high temp hits already. But a reduction in dabbing and/or break will create the biggest difference in "heavy behind the eyes feeling" IMO. I've been in OP's position before, upward of 1g/day of rosin lol... good times haha, until it's not.

Now, that is why I want the flower. I feel that simply having something weaker to vape will keep me occupied, so that I need more hits to achieve the same level of THC in my system, and I will be able to titrate down faster. I want four hits to 100 mg instead of one ( or a half...teehee). I can also mix CBD flower in so I can lift some weight off my receptors. I know flower still hits me, I got a decent high last time I used my SSV with water (the way I wish to use my vapes). I just find the whip and setup fiddly and hard to clean. I am going for power because I want to ease off the concentrates to a flower only regimen. I was interested in the Supreme, but it comes with so many complaints and the site available is so garage band style....it would be hard to paypall out so much cash in such a situation. Thanks for the feedback!

@sarkunit Dreamwood DLX is like a sticky brick that you just drop into your rig like it's a bowl.

E-nano is a great option for a water desktop too, but a Tubo TetraX would be a very nice portable and simpler to set up than SplinterZ (which I also love) if you want temp control at least...

I'd say grab a DLX and one of the others I mentioned so you can try out two, similar yet different, very powerful very pure herbal vaping experiences with your rig spending under $300
