Yeah I would have gone on a rampage and killed everyone and eaten their brains by day 43. But then I'm no miner.

Mining accidents don't usually end happily which makes this story so special. What has impressed me the most is how it has made people all over the world feel good.

And can you imagine how freaky it would have been to have to travel up that tube for 30 minutes to freedom? Almost like a rebirth into the world.

I read that eight of the miners had a wife and a mistress waiting for them!
Still great that its a happy ending.
