Ok quick update:
My glass is at my local post office (according to tracking info) and will be here in the AM. I will post tomorrow if it shows. If it does the entire process will have taken only 7 days from the day I ordered. That's only because the seller is located in a part of Canada that got hit by that giant snowstorm last weekend so he wasn't able to ship until monday. So it technically could have been sooner. I'd say he's a legit dude!

so my cheech showed up today and the damn thing was in a thousand pieces! what the fuck!!!???? what do i do now?

Wow, I've heard of a piece arriving cracked or split but never shattered
Can imagine how your heart must have sunk when you opened it up, I felt something similar when my $500 glass vaporizer fell to the tile floor.
I'll post a couple pics of it later. The tube is fine only the base shattered but I paid for a non broken piece. It wasn't wrapped very well for international shipping. It was marked fragile glass but the box was only as big around as the base. He apologized and said he'd wrap the new one bomb proof. So finger crossed!

I'd still be ripping off that @#$%er. Get some foam, or a towel and some DUCT TAPE! We can make this work! Or, go buy some glass epoxy and fix it. Hey... you're getting 1 1/2 now for the price of one. Today can be SALVAGED!
I've made it work. Took a pair of pliers and broke the rest of the base off and hot glued a black cap to the bottom. Looks like it was made that way!

Ah, so the actual filtration chamber wasn't punctured at all? Exact same thing happened to my RX Industries tube...1 year later still using it like that. It sits in a miso soup container.
(I didn't want to use any adhesives because I like to blast it with steaming hot water)

Here's a little glass porn for you guys. This is the double honeycomb, obviously. It's not an incredibly thick piece, but I've had no problems with it so far. Definitely not something that you can bang around in the sink, but if you take care of it... you should have no problem keeping it intact. The honeycomb bowl was a pretty good feature as well, and for the price... you really can't beat it. Check it:

Back when I still used acrylic, during my combustion days (ugh.... BONG WATER!), I had a little tube, had the end cap... but the base it had, the fit over the cap didn't sit right. So often, it would just fall over, with the base sitting flat.
My daughter had this little tea set and I was looking at one of the plates and flipped it over. Set my tube on top and saw, the round cap... fit perfectly inside the little lip. Some silicone, let it cure and it held until the day, I eventually threw it away. It was like a 4 1/5" - 5" base for a 10" acrylic bong.
Yes something like that would make a perfect base! Thank BDV you got my gears turnin again.
I've gotta say overall I don't really care for the piece. I don't really know why. I think because it's a tube. I kinda wished I'd have gone with a DI can with a bent neck or something. That and I think I prefer a small bubbler that works good for my pax and dabs. Probably gonna sell it and buy one of those tiny beer glass bubblers I've had my eye on for so long now.

Keep your eye on the cheap bubbler thread. I found, what look to be some nice little pieces, that from my eye... Look like people with the smaller and/or a bit restricted draw might like better.
Keep practicing with it. Try the deep breath technique, instead of sucking on it like a tube. Obviously different water levels, etc.
Had I gone on first impressions, Lev would have just got a nastygram text and Big Mona would be a dark day, on the forum. Lol.
Seriously though. It looks like a nice piece. If I had a nickel for everyone I've pointed out the pieces I've milked with a MFLB... And that used to be my only vape.
EDIT: though on second glance, it looks like that honeycomb might be mounted too high. The disc type percs, man if they're not mounted right, or crooked... they can hit like @$&#. One of the "popular" lower HQ brands does that with their honeycombs to. p(H)x, our whatever it its, mebbe.

I'm usually a bubbler guy, but I think I'll like this with the cloud.
What is your method for hooking up the pax? I'm still looking for a good pax to 18mm solution.
I have a big post on my water adapter for my pax but it's buried by now. Luckily thedudenextdoor posted my method to the pax vapor pedis page. So give that a looksy!

Well I got mine and I absolutely love it. For the price it is a no-brainer. I know who I'm going to for custom glass after this (if he does custom).
Was fearing the worse but it arrived in one piece. I accidentally dinged the base into my bubbler right away, luckily it survived. I'm nervous about breaking the base somehow, but really for the price I'm VERY happy. If I do someday break the glass, I'll buy another for those prices.
The base is the only part I'm even kind of nervous about, the rest feels really solid. I'll try to get some pics up soon and a video of it in action with the cloud when I can.

I'd say it is exactly what I was hoping for when I ordered it. Makes a nice more discreet piece to use with the cloud. Fits in my desk drawer next to my bubbler.

I think the diffusion sucks on it! It needs an inline with some slits directly below the honeycomb. Or the honey comb should have been closer to the bottom of the tube. I'm going to sell my replacement as soon as it comes.

Can you explain how the diffusion sucks? I'm sure a lot of it is personal preference. This is my first honeycomb experience and all I know is with the cloud I get better flavor than with my bubbler, likely because I'm using WAY less water in this.
All I know is for the money my cloud is very happy. I can say I wasn't thrilled with my original cloud hydracirc, so I'm not super easily pleased I guess? What vape were you using it with?
