I did try but the dab just melted and puddled up. I gave it al little more heat so as not to waste it. And all that was using an HE carb cap.

i have this same nail from green but i CANNOT get it to hit fat or even good w out it puddling up everytime or ill scorcth it and itll taste burnt! i SWEAR w that exact nail, i seems like the dab area is TOO THIN to retain heat long enough... do u have problems w that nail? or does it work fine for you? any pointers? thanks

no no man! i have a 10mm banger tooo and i LOOOVE that thing! but im talking about the Daisy style 1 from green buddha i believe its from him.. i SWEAR the dab surface is tooo thin! i cannot make it workout well... if i scortch the shit out of it, itll taste burnt, but if i just torch it to where it feels like a nice temp., im not new to it, love quartz, bu this 1 i CANNOT get to work well. any pointers and id REALLY appreciate it!

@Herr_Dampf was showing me he uses one too. l dont have an 18f adapter... but I have a healthstone slide which is just a modified version of that. if a regular 18f adapter was a little wider at the top then this healthstone slide.... it would be perfect.
I think if you ask him he could make you something with the dimentions of a solo aroma bowl... which is great design... just needs carb hole... check it out
the tool idk... but I have a female version of the square holder from that seller. it is real quartz and fits the joint nicely.

btw I think it helps the flavor if you dont totally burn tgat pad clean every time... that is what most would refer to as seasoning. the dark area is not black, its actually konda light brown creamy color when cool.
also, thats not 1 dab... thats like 10+ dabs done slug style.

I've tried ceramic ones as well I don't really have too much of a preference between the two. I'm longing to try quartz though.... ugh one day!
i can validate that the 2nd sellers quartz nails are fine..
if ur not sure what to choose, id recommend these quartz domeless nails! ive ordered 4 off ebay, from 3 different buyers and they have all been good nails! i just wouldnt trust Ti on ebay! i also have the 10mm Ti sidearm nail, like Silikias side nails, work nice, bought it from my LHS

You can't go wrong with that type of nail. It is easily my favorite. Above my HE DualTi and Domeless Ceramic, and any dome/nail set-up.
