Changing account photo

Hi ,tried changing my photo a while ago and was left with a V in its place ,tried many times on 2 browsers to put a pic up of my cats but keeps giving me an error message ,any tips ? Thanks in advance G

Email them to yourself, iCloud?

On my iPad, i am still able to do it (just checked in case it was broken)
When you select picture, are you changing size to one around 400x400? (I just was able to add 474x474)

When I try to change my avatar, it says:

It is recommended that you use an image that is at least 400x400 pixels.

So ideally it shouldn't be too small.

I think there's an upload limit as well, my guess is 2MB.
So if it's a smartphone/tablet photo it may need to be reduced in size first in order to upload

Ahh. Makes sense. I was reading it as max size, but I clearly didn’t read it carefully enough!

Exactly, that is what I was trying to suggest to @Vapor-catzG, but wasn’t very clear.

On the iPad, when you select your picture, it will show you the size at bottom of image, if you click on that, it will give you options to make it smaller.
