CCA710 LIGER - AIR

Just don't try to detach the ti-bucket from the tubing/10mm joint, some (me too) didn't recognize in the beginning that u dont dis-assemble the Air to swap joints, u just add adapters...just attach the coil and cover in a direction mounted that ur rig stands safe and won't tip over and don't over tighten the hex nut from the cover :)

Anyone know of anyone that makes custom bubble caps for the liger air? I'm tired of the shit caps that CCA makes and I can't find a stock cap that will fit the air.

Hey so I ordered a Obsidian insert from Josh and got shipped the wrong size. Would anyone be interested in a 30mm obsidian insert for like 100? PM me ((still in the plastic shrink wrap))

So ive been rocking my Gold liger AIR since about july (believe my AIR is #42) Honestly when i first got it i loved it. so much lighter that it didnt tip over my rig anymore which is nice because the glass is pretty expensive. Its also alot more responsive with the heat so i feel like glob mode and uptemp dabs work better and are easier to time. i didnt like that it seemed alot weaker then the 30mm v3 liger but when i first got it all the joints seem strong enough. Now over time the 14mm joint ring of the liger is loose af causing the AIR to sit in the rig very loose and wobbly! It started with a small wobble at which point i tried to use some steel wire to secure the AIR to the drop down of the rig but after a month of that it was just too much of a hassle. And the joint only got worst even after securing it:/ The stem in between the bucket and down joint seems fine and has only come apart twice during cleanings on the down joint side and never at the bucket side.

Now for a new Joint Adapter is like 82$?!?! wtf?!?! I bought the AIR for 85 with shipping hahaha! SO for the last two weeks ive been back to rocking the v3 30mm Liger and i love it! its wayyy more solid then the AIR so i dont have to worry about it falling apart mid dab , qtippin it or even just moving it. The only downside im seeing is the weight of it and the temp change responsiveness i know is not as nice as the AIR but i mostly take dabs at one temp or even drop in a insert for a uptemp dab that way. I did order a low profile 14mm-10mm reducers so i can use the 30mm v3 liger wit the 10mm attachment to reducer weight. Then i realized i can bypass that stupid joint ring on the Air by using a 10mm joint. So for now im just waiting on the reducer to see which one will become the daily driver.

Also finally pulled the trigger on a Coojo Cap so im looking forward to that :)

The price shot up on the AH heater cover before it disappeared so he might not have many left. I don't know, his prices have shot up a lot and he eliminated the cheap silver option.

I found the joint adapter to be poorly designed and had it nearly twist off a few times. The base also was hard to remove from my rig. I'm guessing that's why it's not included in the bundle anymore and they switched to the glass adapter instead. Kinda sucks there's no options for people with male joints anymore though especially since they still dominate the dab landscape.

Ya i seen that the AH heater cover went up in price before it was taken down from the site. I remember seeing it was almost 100$ and i had bought mine for 29.95 sad. But seriously I paid 85$ for my full Gold Liger Air and now its 185.94?!?! And 81.25 for Joint Adapters if i want to replace and be able to use a 14mm Male joint for it is fucking crazy imo https://www.cca710.com/products/liger-air-ti-joint-adapters !

Probably removed the silver options because the colors just change anyways over time and people were probably starting to mention it hahaha! My silver flat coil liger is now gold, My gold Air is now rainbow-ish and my 20mm Rainbow Liger is still rainbow but did change slightly

Hello all I am in need of assistance and am unsure of where else to turn right now. I have placed an order with CCA710 for a Liger 3.0 10mm male adapter (tomorrow will be a week since ordering) and have not heard any updates about my order. I have tried emailing and calling the phone number listed on the website and am unable to get a hold of any customer service rep. I understand the liger air has a wait time however there is no mention of in stock parts having delays and I am wondering about when or if I will even receive what I have paid for.

This is my second experience ordering from CCA710 and this is just as painful as my original Liger order last year. Quite frankly I feel lucky that CCA710 is still in business as I can't see this being sustained with current business practices. I have just purchased my dream rig and and am currently being held up by this adapter, with zero customer support to offer any insight.

I apologize if these forums are the wrong place but without expressing my frustrations I feel like this is the only place for me to turn.

For anyone who can help: Order number is 3257 for a past gen 10mm male rainbow adapter. At this point I don't even care if the Rainbow is in stock or not, I just need an adapter.

Thank you to anyone who can offer help or insight.

CCA710 suck to deal with :( ive had 4 orders and the fastest ive had them ship out was like 2 weeks, every other time it is a month or more to ship out. The fastest way to reach someone would be to msg josh on IG thru one of his CCA710 accounts from what ive heard. ive always just emailed customer service myself but it can take days or even a week or so to hear back. Ive always gotten my stuff but i would shoot a friendly "hello i love ur product and im excited, can i have a update on the order?" every few days to keep them thinking of me. After reading thru alot of the Liger forums it seemed to me a good idea to keep "bugging" them they dont think they can keep me waiting for the products i paid for for months. But ya be persist and tried msging thru IG. Good Luck :)

i didn't like the AIR from the day I got it in the mail and saw it in-person. I initially pre-ordered it (#153) and it's been sitting BRAND NEW on a shelf collecting dust since while i continue using and loving the original 30mm.

i clean my liger often and the joints slowly wear down, so eventually, i'm gonna need a replacement bucket. i don't know what i'll do at that point, but it definitely wont be a switch to the AIR.

I discovered something that is highly relevant to this thread...

Over tightening will cause a loss of performance with electronic nails.

I started noticing a decline in the vapor performance of my liger air/ kubeone rig. It got so bad that I stopped using it for several months. Then my guy contacted me with 75% off sale so I bought up the rest of his supply and pulled my gear out of storage. I had a hunch that I might have over tightened the retaining screw. So I loosen it up and now it works great.

My guess is that the high pressure was screwing with the temperature readings or was physically damaging the coil. I did this following shoobys advice. I'm guessing he was having the same issue and that's why he did not like the liger air. It makes sense that he preferred quartz because you could not over tighten quartz without breaking it. Also titanium experiences more thermal expansion than quartz. So a coil in an over tightened up liger air would receive pressure from the expanding bucket and the shield, in addition to coil expansion vs quartz where you would just have to worry about coil expansion.

Coil pressure is not an issue if you loosely tighten the retaining nut. Just don't ratchet it down and you should be fine!

I'm loving my liger air and I'm hoping that we get to see more innovations coming from CCA.

So you can use a weak little flat coil instead of a awesome wrap-around AH coil? Nice try trying to troll.

I hope you realize bro that I'm just trying to explore the science and mechanisms behind this technology. The stuff that shooby said about his CCA Liger can be easily explained by a lost in performance due to him over tightening the liger in his modification. Saying that difference has something to do with the vapor path just doesn't make sense or have any basis in science. The thermodynamics at the dish level are what is important, not if the vapor travels through an inch of titanium or quartz tubing. Quartz is lame, it breaks and chazzes up. There are far better materials out there from a thermodynamic and manufacturing stand point.

Dude said he won't switch to the Air. So I brought up a new innovation from an extremely respectable company with CS that makes CCA look even worse than they already are, and i'm trolling?

And L O L at quartz being "lame"!

That newvape stuff could not look any more derivative.

But please go ahead try to explain to me why you like quartz so much use your mind, show me all of this knowledge you have.

Sounds like you have much reading to do with the Search Tool? Or perhaps start a new thread? I wouldn't ever go back to ANY metal in my vapour path. Just like I would never go back to vaping flower. But that's just me, lotsa of people love Ti, and vaping flower - and at the same time!

That makes sense, the properties of titanium make it much more ideal for holding a coil to the dish and as air path.
