What have you found as a user regarding CBD strains VS THC strains.
Just curious to get everyones thought.
My son feels he can't smoke weed anymore because after 6 months of medicated use of 0.5 grams per day (previously he took it for 2 years occasionaly about once a week) He than ate an edible gummy bear and felt awkward, dizzy, vertigo type of feeling. After this experience he stopped taking weed for about 5 days.
Retried it 5 days later and took 0.1 grams of High THC strain and found that at one point it caused him paraniod thoughts and 1 hours of auditory hallucinations. (At the time he was very nervous, anxious, and just been to the hospital for a physical condition that was hurting him.) After taking the 0.1 grams about an 1 hr later "voices wer talking to him for about 1 hr"
He than stopped for yet another 7 days and although he said it was a mixed feeling of paranoia, he felt relaxed that night. He woke up in the morning took a bath and for about 1 minute was hearing voices and he was supposedly said his speach was uncontrolled for that minute he was consecutivley hearing voices and speaking. He also said he got his vertigo back. After being vertigo free for about 3 days prior to trying again.
I told him that the second hallucination/uncontrolled speach was probably a petit mall siezure and he should get it checked. His paranoia and anxiety is worse without weed and I am trying to convince him to go to his doctor who prescribed the weed to get cbd only strains. But he feels he is done with weed and is afraid of trying weed anymore.
From what I know in research High CBD low THC strains should be O.K. but I am not sure if weed in general is a good thing for him anymore. He is 18. So maybe its true weed is not good for people under the age of 25?
I am wondering if the edible he ate caused a shock in the system that fried his endocanaboid system to the point where he is unable to take weed anymore because they give him negative side affects now. If people green out do they get this type of allergic or symptomatic reaction.
Anyone else have experience with this, or friends relatives.
