Anyhoot, back on topic. I'll be checking out about 5 strains of high CBD, there seems to be a big focus on it at this place.

They also do in house testing for %CBD and %THC, some are even splits, most are low THC.

Any thoughts on results of trying those types?

As Far as finding CBD rich flowers. I was unsucessfull in finding any. I was only looking for flowers and Da Vinci was the only place I went to out of the list I provided. and a different place "Hoyland" (Traffic kicked my ass, got out the door late)
Yeah though, I couldn't locate CBD rich flowers. What I did find was a nice collective that goes by DC Collective.

Sorry to disappoint all. I wil try harder to find good CBD rich flowers when I head back there.

The strains like Harlequin and Harlem Blues are useless for me. The best bang for my buck, if I need high CBD, is high CBD oil in an edible. C02 is best if possible. I eat BHO but only after wiping it on a rolling paper and letting it sit out for a day, to make sure anything that can evaporate does in fact evaporate just to be safe. Seems I still need a good glob of THC in there to synergize with the high CBD in order to feel anything or even get any medicinal benefits.

I picked up 1 strain out of 3 I was looking at. I'll snap a pic of the buds later, have yet to try it out. I think it's 9% CBD but will need to confirm.

Finally tried my high CBD strain last night. Although I could not resist the urge to mix in my favorite hash and my 'shake/hash/kief' filler/buffer.

But without a doubt, I could taste the very distinct flavor of the high CBD strain. I would describe the flavor as pungent and memorable. A cross between a very dirty potato and hobo feet.

I've been really interested in trying High CBD strains, yet have only tasted 2 strains that were dedicated to being high in CBD: Harlequin and Jillyquin. These medications just have a second rate taste. Like a diet soda. Has anybody tried any real good tasting high CBD bud?

I recently picked up some cavi squeeze amber fire Pure Co2 hash oil and its very high in CBD
but its BLACK! when spread apart, a DARK AMBER
The effects are different than I'm used to.
A heavy cough 5 seconds after dabbing
Really does seem high in CBD

Interesting. I've noticed it. The darkness in the higher CBD concentrates, I mean. Is this coincidental? Most darker oils are or seem CBD richer, but I may be wrong...

That is a true fact, most greenish waxes have more plant material (chorophyll?) and High THC waxes are just super pale yellow, like a bright gold.
I'd say the in between waxes (brownish) have a THC CBD ratio going on.
I'm no scientist, just expressing my point of view through my experiences.
but this Amber Fire Hash Oil is a really pure CBD rich oil.
The effects are so clean it's almost straight thereputic with no groggynes, and IIRC that was a major beneficial factor of taking in the medicinal sides of cannabis yet also excluding the unwanted presence of certain active ingredients that are natural to the cannabis plant.

Funny how I went in search of good High CBD bud and was unsuccesful, and Great Rich CBD oil sort of just fell onto my path a week later.

Wish I had your luck. Had a terrible experience with a budtender today who, I believe, tried (unsuccessfully) to obtain my PIN number. Wanted it verbally, but I had given the dumbass a credit card, and he was too high to figure out what was going on. Kept saying he needed a PIN number and I kept telling him it was a credit card. At first I thought I was high then I realized that was what I came into the dispensary for in the first place.

Dude is that an east bay place? Have you been to SPARC on mission here in SF? (warning, no credit cards, only ATM or cash) They pass you the keypad for the PIN .

I had a lil bit of the CBD rich flowers again last night CannaT SR01
Flavor was still hard to get used to, but it's a nice body-therapeutic strain.

i'm not really into high CBD strains but have experimented with a few after a broken leg . I've tried cannatonic and harlequin locally , neither tastes much better than freshmex . The cannatonic was weak in both THC and CBD , i believe 9% /8% . the harlequin , however , was the pain relieving BomB ! 6% thc and 12.5% CBD , it's smokeable aspirin . Got a 1/4 of that and threw my vicodin scrip away .

Nope. Thats why I always avoid them. I go with Simpson Oil if I want something rich in CBD's.

cannatonic is good . i like to mix it with a strong indica though....or hash.

I just picked up some Omrita Rx that tastes and vapes better than the Cannatonic I've tried in the past. What I'd really love is to vape some INDOOR high CBD flowers!

OH BTW, I vaped .27g of dieseltonic with my GF last night (we usually vape .2g together) and see fell asleep during the session lol

I could definitely feel vibrations in my body when vaping this Staiva dominant strain... which is pretty odd...I find the CBD to make me more sleepy ... even tho it was a Sativa plant

Remember that the "high" is THC and the pain relief and numbness comes from CBD CBN and the rest...

The CannaT I've been mixing with a strong sativa taffy so it's hard to really say what is what. The Sativa taffy just blasts my face so hard, like smiling til it hurts sometimes.

The taste of pure CannaT just doesn't do it for me, I must mix in something else.
