A friend's wife has migraine headaches but we are in MN so she'd only have access to legal CBD products.

What intake options would be best? She would not ever consider vaping CBD bud :(

1. Sublingual tincture would likely be a top option IMO??

2. Edibles like capsules or gummies would probably be a nice long lasting option and eazy peazy.
Edibles with high fat helper are much more effective!

3. ??? CBD cream or balm on the forehead and neck blood vessels ?? Anybody ever try this??
A known CBD strength is the ability to absorb thru the skin, much better than THC's poor absorption level.

IME, CBD topicals work wonders on many pain/inflammation issues so would CBD help with migraines??

FYI, she is at this point also anti-THC so would NOT use full spectrum CBD products. I always search for the full spectrum products with the most diversity of cannabinoids/ terps/ etc

Any info is greatly appreciated---just trying to help her get the most effective focus as migraines suck big time and I hope CBD will help her

CBD is good for what it does, but I doubt CBD will do much for migraines.

Have her look for broad spectrum products. No THC but includes other cannabinoids, terpenes, and compounds that add to the entourage effect.

She is very into essential oils and that company (Young Living) just bought a CBD company (Nature's Ultra) which does not make a full spectrum product. They make : "Nature’s Ultra uses a combination of CBD isolate and the terpenes in essential oils to produce a smart spectrum CBD oil without THC."
Their "Smart Spectrum" distills hemp down to CBD isolate and then adds in terpenes (non-hemp) and essential oils.

It is a clean and lab tested product BUT is missing a while symphony of cannabinoids/terps/flavinoids :(
I will always suggest full spectrum, with or without THC, but some have their own agendas/own biases/ own stigma realities.

My understanding is only transdermal patches work for CBD thru the skin. Personally I am doubtful that they are very effective at this time.
