Can't find a pen to fit my requirements!

All i wanna do is cram as much materiel as i possibly can into the chamber so i don't have to keep reloading the pen. I'm talking like a gram if possible!!! I would like the sides of the chamber to be as clean as possible at the end of the "bowl". Is this to much to ask for? I only use dry crumbly chunks of blonde wax in my pen. Not interested in liquids or shatters or any of that shitty goo! only honeycomb wax. The best i can come up with as of now is the Dr Dabber Ghost. Please recommend the best pen to fit these requirements. Thanks guys.

I believe the hercules can hold much more than any of the other carts out there(ghost, dabbler\vb11), with very little taste degradation. It sounds a bit finicky though, as it takes some technique to get the best performance out of it without leakage etc. That said, the owners of a hercules seem to absolutely love them, and the W9 stuff is super high quality and 100% rebuildable.

In short, yes you are asking for the holy grail of pens, but I think the hercules is the closest thing to what you want that is currently in the market.

I use the Gentleman's Mega V2 because of its ability to hold large loads. They advertise 1-2g capacity, though I guess it would depend on your concentrate.

id like to know how this works. if the oil is heating up every rip it is def degrading. so i wonder how it only heats the dab you are taking and not the rest of the load...?

I'm very new to the Herc (about a week), but I'll offer whatever insight I can.

The ceramic rod in the middle of the chamber is what heats up in the Hercules. Surrounding it is a circular coil, roughly 1/4" tall, made of compressed grade 2 Ti. The ceramic rod in the center heats up, beginning to heat up the oil closest to it in the coil, vaporizing it.

After the hit, the user does a few "cool down" hits, where they continue to hit the Herc without the power on. This draws cool air over the coil, cooling the oil, and returning it to a solid or semi-solid state. The oil sort of "redistributes" itself throughout the coil, ready for the next hit.

If the cool down hits are not done, you will begin to slowly leak oil down into the reclaim chamber. The oil that drips down is recoverable, so it's not lost, just a hassle to have to deal with imo. The reclaim chamber is what ensures the continued great taste. It prevents the oil from hanging out in the Ti coil for too long, while hot and not being hit, thereby overcooking/burning it. Rather then continue to stick around and heat up, it drops out into the reclaim chamber.

If the user does the cool down hits, there will be no need to recover oil from the reclaim chamber.

That's my understanding of it, at least. Like I said, new to the Herc, but loving it so far. Definitely better then my Cera, not regretting selling that at all at this point. I've only run about .75g through it so far, but the taste now, is just as good as the taste from the first hit. Experienced no taste degradation so far, and definitely would have experienced it on a LayG style cart or anything else.

The flavor is just about equal to the Cera in the first few hits, but stays better then the Cera throughout the entire load.

interesting. i still think that if the oil is getting heated at all... regardless of where it is... is still losing terps, but it may be negligible.

id like to try one out.

Yes, I'd imagine you'd be losing some of the lowest temp terps. But like you said, it's pretty negligible. What I've noticed in my short time with it, is that the flavor doesn't degrade, but it's slightly less pronounced.

I've been using some high quality live resin, so terpy goodness for sure. The first hit, the flavor was almost overwhelming it was so strong and delicious. I still taste that same flavor now, as I'm nearing the end of the gram, it's just not as strong. So there hasn't really been a degradation in flavor per se, it's just not as dominant.

Another vote for the Herc.

I have had (and have) pretty much every type of oil vape and I now user the Herc SR74x as my goto vape. There is a learning curve (as Roth has mentioned) but i believe it gives the best results especially on the ability to hold the flavour. There is a thread with lots of info and a great customer service.

The ghost is OK as a Load As You Go device but is not suitable to hold a large load.

Check out the pics in the one hitter quitter thread of my latest device. If your into or able to wrap your own coils this is the route to go, I use a derringer atty from fasttech that costs 7$ and is very well suited for our concentrate purposes. It had a well built in each side which is very convenient for keeping viscous oils on / near the coil. With my setup I run single coil and can put half a gram on the coil side and another half where their is no coil in the well to be held for later packing in the day preventing the need for me to carry anything on me, which in my state is not a good idea, 5 year mandatory minimum per gram of concentrates... Ew. So it works well for me

Does the V2 clog at all/easily? I notice that it doesn't have the fancy air tube found in the W9 EO cartridge.

You are right on. You get a few super terpy hits after loading but the flavor drops off quick. One of the reasons I sold my persei/sr71 a while back.

I do agree the the first few hits are very flavorful. I would even go as far as to say it gives the best flavour I have ever experienced with concentrates from any device. After the first few hits I still find the flavour to be very good, at least on par with any of my other devices. It is less than those first few hits however.

I think the learning curve can put people off the Hercules but I would not want to miss this device.
The only thing I think comes close to the flavour is using an Arizer/MiniVap with really nice bud on a low temperature.

Your flavor would drop after a few hits?
Yup same deal with the thermovape luna. Right now my go to concentrate attys are the dual coil alpha centauri by w9 tech and the ceramic donut atty 2.5 by divine tribes (which is a much better design than the 1701) and use both in temperature control mode on the mini vf mod to maintain low temps. Low temps combined with load as you go attys are where it's at for consistently flavorful hits.

1 decent size dab will on average give probably 4-5 insane tasting chokers that will make you sweat with the temp set (conveniently) @ 420F. After that the clouds taper off, but seem to go on forever and ever. Even the dual coil i would say is more conservative than the nail

It would be difficult to beat a Persei with Hercules attachment. It holds an ungodly amount, and since the heater is at the bottom, it doesn't burn any of the material above. I have some wax in mine that's been there a couple of months and it still tastes fresh. It's a lot easier loading a gram at a time instead of having to deal with single reloads. As stated above, it does take some technique, but it's totally worth it.

I just picked up a couple Snoop Dogg GPro Vaporizers and I have to say they hold about .6 of dry and hit great very little to no smoke and smell and no combustion. everyone I have gave one to love them. here is a pic.
