It's definitely a step in the right direction. At least people with a genuine medical need will be able to access clean and safe meds with out fear of persecution.

Hopefully this will start lots of conversations and start to break down the stigma cannabis has.

My grandmother and aunt from Canada are here at the moment. This gives me an in to discuss the topic at the dinner table and see how theu feel about Canadas impending legalisation.

@Mr. Gweilo 420 I hope you are wrong too but I share the same fears. All I want to do is be able to grow my own and enjoy it as I please. I hope we don't lose out to big corporations.

Lets see how freely available it becomes. I think it will be limited to extreme cases. But I certainly hope I am wrong.

At the start for sure, you can't expect it to be hugely available until the public sees how effective and relatively harmless it actually is.

The point of the article for me is that Dr Caldicott is challenging the system and it's attitudes.
