Cannabis Farmers Market coming to Seattle

SEATTLE There are dozens of farmers markets in the region, but organizers are planning one with a different flavor.
The Cannabis Farmers Market is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 27 in South Lake Union. Organizers say it will be held at the Little Red Bistro on Dexter Avenue and only be open to medical marijuana patients with a written doctors authorization.

It will be very similar to other monthly events held in Tacoma.

Theyve turned people away, if theyve showed up with authorization that is questionable in their mind, says Philip Dawdy of the Washington Cannabis Association. He says the event will include growers, who will offer marijuana based products, but only under legal statutes.

They run a really tight door, says Dawdy.

The strict/tight door stance is admirable and more than understandable IMO. I can only imagine walking into a farmer's market of this sort, the ideology behind it seems to promote a healthy product in a way I think is great. Can't wait for my chance
