Cannabis and stigma

TheThriftDrifter

Land of the long vapor cloud
I live in a country that is POSSIBLY quite close to some form of cannabis legalization.(fingers crossed)

We are currently still in a state of prohibition, but the cannabis cat is well and truly out of the bag, with the good herb being supplied by an active black market for many a decade.

We have a government medical cannabis program that is extremely limited and insanely expensive.(completely out of touch and behind the times)

We definitely still have a culture here in NZ that can deliver a good dose of old fashioned(war on drugs)stigma to cannabis consumers.

MY QUESTION

In places where cannabis has become legally legitimate. How has the stoner stigma changed? Have things improved? Have there been cultural shifts for the better? :peace:
