Can weed still be green when fully extracted?

Does it necessarily have to turn brown, or is it "done" when the bud (even when green) gets dry and crumbly?

Convection driven vaporizers can do their job and leave part of the herb with a pale green tint still on it. I mean not te whole load, just some pale green here and there while the rest of the load is light brown.
YMMV and it also depends how much weed has been cured. Vaporizers like well cured weed, in general. Not well enough cured weed, no extraction, green tint. I has to be dry and crumbly beforehands, in order to get proper extraction.

Oddly my crafty plus after 2 sessions (one at 170 and the next at 180, each with 2-4 draws) is often still with a decent amount of green left. Im happily where I need to be at this point but my abv can still be fairly green.

I find it‘s also down the herb itself. A few times I’ve had herb that goes tan/light green even when fully spent.
I find a big variation in herb as well. Some strains keep pumping vapor even when they look like coffee grounds. Others that I've vaped, from some angles and with enough light, still have a slight light green hue, but won't give much more vapor.

If you have a device that produces the brown, try putting the green in it to see if it was "done" or not.

I did this when I switched from PAX3 to Airizer EQ because the ABV wasn't nearly as dark as it had been in the PAX (or my FF2). I did get a very slight hit off of the PAX but not enough to notice any effect at all. So I don't fret it any more.

if it not brown that particulate did not reach the desired temp to brown it, would you put bread in a toaster and it come out not brown and u consider it toasted? heat burns. .if the weed didnt brown its 100% temp related, if u put it in a mighty it would brown for sure the vape your using i think need stirring or just blasting harder lol is it convection or butane driven?

I think convection makes a difference, even with toasted bread. I've been making toast in the air fryer and it comes out toasted, but not brown at all. Tastier than the (conduction) toaster too.

That having been said, even lowish temp sessions on my TinyMight still comes out at least light brown. Not green.

the hit that takes the herb from 'yellowish' to 'brown' is not worth it too much tho. don't feel like you lose something. from green to fully yellowish is how you should role (with a convection device) . enjoy it

bruh im going to have to try that toast in the air fryer lol, yea i feel u there on convection making a diff thats why i asked what type of vape it was all my convection ones need driving a little harder/higher on the temps to achieve the same brown as say my mighty/dynavap alot more conduction in those tho i feel like they over brown

I think it tastes closer to restaurant toast. BUT you have to be careful that the bread doesn't fly around like crazy. Not a problem if you're making several slices. But if I'm just making one slice I kind of wedge the bread into the grate with 2 toothpicks. Otherwise the single slice might go flying and hit the heating element. Then you're getting some conduction action for sure.

If anyone asks what my TM is I usually say it's like an air fryer for weed.

something like the TM or TP80 is definately a small convection oven, 70W... big oven needs 600W or even more

My nano is convection. The bud will get brown and even black. I was just inquirng whether it can be fully or mostly extracted if the color is still green or yellow. Using the example of toast...for me it becomes toast once it changes texture, from soft bread to crunchy. It doesn't have to turn brown, though many prefer it that way.
