Can I get a positive head nod confirming that chili is so awesome?

I would greatly appreciate it.

Just so you know, I am not a master chili maker; in fact I make it as a lazy bastard would: add beans to pot, and mix in extra virgin olive oil, chopped onion, garlic powder, various hot sauces, chopped tomatoes, fresh basil, and possibly meat, which tends to be chopped up chicken that's been cooked on a pan.

I then turn on the stove, and allow the the the stuff to cook and do whatever it does.

But I love it. It's pretty healthy, filling, and pretty cheap, and making it requires little effort. I also vegetable omelets cooked in just a little bit of olive oil. I pour hot sauce on omelet to make it taste aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaesome.

I made a another thread like this, but this one's different.

It's better with cornbread. :brow:
I have one of those things that turns tortilla wraps into hard bowls (perhaps you've seem them at restaurants...). I could pour the chili into one of those sexy sluts, although I must say that corn bread sounds so high.

This bud that I have - supposedly called ogre - has really been getting my stoned. My last ounce of stuff was good, but this stuff...vape one little bowl, and boom: stoned.

The munchies are pretty bad, though. Those pretzel m&ms are so good, but I must resist for the sake of my health. I could make another vegetable smoothie, but I've already had so much freaking fiber. Perhaps I should hydrate.

You tell me:

Do I vape another bowl and watch:

Trailer Park Boys or Spongebob. Please note, I'm on season of of TPB and I haven't seen most of the Spongebob episodes.

I got so high from the edible that I ate that I literally thought I was on the verge of dying. I should have known that 1.2 grams of good bud, and the fact that the firecracker tasted really strong, and the fact that I don't have an insanely high tolerance, that I was fucked. I cried, bruh. It was way too intense.

Hey FukCombustion, am sorry to hear your edible experience was not a good one!

Thanks to FC and its awesome base of contributors, I was able to research the use of ABV, but also learn to be very cautious, as there's many references of being so medicated that the experience turned unpleasant.

I make my own edibles, an easy recipe on link below, and I find it very easy to dose (not overdose).

Hope this helps!

Real chili doesn't have beans.</sheldon>

I agree. No beans in my chili. Meat, meat, meat.

But if you like a chili-style, easy to make bean and meat stew and you ever get bored with chili (I know, not common, but it does happen), try a Spanish cocido. Easy-peasy to make.
Just take chick peas, throw them in a pot with as many types of meat as you have on hand (I often do it when I have multiple left overs in the freezer - duck, chicken, pork, beef, some sausage), throw in either water and some dry white wine or stock, a shitload of garlic, some chili flakes, and enough saffron to add color. Let it cook for a couple of hours. Voila. In many of the non-coastal parts of Spain, cocido is THE dish, not paella.

You can actually leave it cooking on low temp overnight - it was originally a Sephardic Jewish thing, they'd start it before sundown on Friday, leave it on a small flame or in an oven on low until the end of shabbat on Saturday evening. Like Western European Jewish cholent but a whole lot tastier.

Actually my chili does contain red kidney beans. It takes at least three and preferably four days to make, cooking for three-four hours each day. By the time it is ready it is reduced by at least 50%. It tastes best if it is then allowed to stand over for another three or four days.
