You can do that by placing a "Free" ad in the classifieds section. You'll need some more "likes" and posts before you'll be able to post there.

You must be an actively contributing member with at least 60 days membership, 50 posts, and 25 "likes" to sell in the Classifieds

He's actually been a member since 2012, so not quite a "newbie".
