Looking at both these vapes and looking for a comparison by someone who owns or has tried both vapes.
Thanks for the reply that's very helpfulI have a ceroma and the zx. The ceroma has been in a drawer ever since the zx arrived and I haven't missed it at all. Apart from the obvious 18mm Vs 14mm injector difference, the biggest, most noticeable difference for me is the weight. Manipulating the ceroma was awkward due to it's mass. The zx tastes better for me, and it is much more efficient in terms of effects per load size.
Thanks for the detailed reply that makes my decision much easierQaroma was my go-to for over a year (maybe 2?). Was replaced by my ZX with no regrets.
Qaroma works great, but took slightly longer draws to make thick vapor. Needed to use a little more lung capacity to get a decent hit. Could be mitigated by turning up the heat, but that caused flavor to degrade.
Qaroma is bigger, with a larger bowl, so more capacity in that regard. But I don’t like loading up huge bowls with these ball vapes. I prefer 2 smaller loads over one bigger one. Flavor is better, and I think it’s more efficient and maybe easier on the lungs. I don’t miss the larger bowl. A small load just covering the screen in the ZX still gives a massive hit. Smaller size means ZX heats up much quicker
Qaroma is quite fragile. I was very careful with mine and ended up with damaged threads somehow, still a mystery. ZX is extremely durable.
Flavor is pretty comparable, but I give a slight edge to ZX due to vapor density (less air mixed in at the beginning of a draw)
For me, ZX wins by a small margin in all categories. And it’s MUCH more durable, very lightweight (less top heavy on a bubbler), cheaper, and produced by our own FC OG homie (who may have been the original ball vape innovator). 14mm bowl may actually be an advantage. No brainer for me. ZX wins
