I have this really great "Lemon scented oil". It says it can be used in a diffuser, but does da buddha count? And mixing it with cannabis? I'm going through hard times so I only have shake right now which tastes AWFUL!!! I figured the scented oil might make the experience better. Is this an okay practice or should I not?

i would say no. It's just lemon scent- you don't know what the carrier oil is.

Even if you did, there's still a big difference between diffuse inhalation as in aromatherapy, and direct inhalation through a vaporizer. Some of those essential oils can be quite damaging in their concentrated forms. I'd imagine lemon oil could be- it's used as a cleaner... but then maybe not... There are a few members who know much more about this (Abysmal, and others) so maybe they have more to add.

I knew diffusing of oils was different than vaping marijuana. This stuff just tastes so awful sometimes I just want to do anything to help mask it. Any possible suggestions?

It takes 1 drop on the outside of a paper bag or sheet and rolling the buds in it to get what you desire. Mind that pure essential oils are concentrates who has the active ingredients of kilograms of herb.. Real pure essential oils are expensive and you'll rather get better tasting bud for that money than spending it on oils :).

If you aren't a fan of cannabis taste, perhaps you could add a little pinch of mint to create a more desirable flavor and it would remain natural.

Yeah, I would recommend what vapornation says but it can be any plant such as lemon balm or even a rose petal just make sure it's organic. I wouldn't recommend using essential oils UNLESS you know it's organic and pure, use a SMALL drop and most importantly know what temperature your vaping at because too high of a temperature can burn those lower boiling oils and create problems down the line for your health. Remember those oils burn at lower temperatures than thc boils away at and being that you're using them in a concentration that isn't a good thing. If it were just the whole plant I wouldn't really see it as a big problem even though it's still better to vape at a low temperature or the approximate temperature and just boil them away without burning them so no carcinogenics can be created.
