I have a multitude of Vaporgenies I don't taste any butane unless I bring the flame too far in.

My girlfriend looks at me in disgust when I light the Hammer since it reeks of butane. The coil can be harsh but I don't think it's that bad. I really enjoy the Bronze over them all as you can't even tell you got a hit until afterwards.

I think so too ! I like it much better than the lotus.. I like the taste better.. Lotus maybe convection but i can taste the wood and the metal plate.. I didnt have that problem with the Vapmans gold chamber . Don't care if you believe me .. and it is half the price in Europe.. around 62 Euro Shipped... against 119 euro for lotus... (having in mind the latest plate issues)

Was it determined that with a vapor genie the butane all gets burnt in the flame so it wont enter the airflow?

What vape it is doesn't matter, and as for the lighter, it's only a question of whether all the carbon gets burned or not. A standard lighter won't burn it all, thus producing soot/partially burned carbon. A torch lighter burns all the carbon, producing only harmless byproducts.

Torch is always the best goto. Bic is always a good backup though!

I would think a Lotus or a Vapor Genie. I used my No2 as my camping buddy. I have 3 extra batteries and a car charger. It worked great the last time I went camping.

Just got back from my mini big bear trip, I'm the guy with the lion's mane, you could barely see my eyes since I had to sickest lotus session before we got on the wave runners. I had to sneak away for the session but only took me 2 mins and I was able to get 4 narly rips that had me completely GONE! I'm not going to lie though, I did see an older couple look at me while I was toking, they probably thought I was "hittin the pipe" lol

Pretty much any lighter based vaporizer will look like you're hitting a pipe while you're using it, though certainly without the telltale odor. That's why I prefer sneakier methods for public consumption. Even hitting a Solo in a sippy cup or re-usable Starbucks cup looks pretty innocent. My strategy is to give people the impression that I'm doing one thing while I'm doing something else.

when hes saying "the pipe" Im pretty sure hes referring to a crack/meth pipe because the heating methods are similar.

my camping trip vape is the solo and when i run out of juice the gnome cant beat a torch powered vape when out and away from power for a long time imo.
