Hey guys I’m interested in the CXL but I read here a few post back that if you have a cV2 that the CXL is not worth it because the V2 slaps?

I have a v1 ti and it’s pretty good when you get the right technique (draw speed) just right without scorching the weed even when heating with the Inductor. You can get some pretty monstrous clouds with this thing!

I will be using this Natively, should I hop on the Pay what you can for the V2? Or should I drop me shillings for the CXL?

EDIT: Also I seen the CXL can be used basically as a bowl for the Injector vape Camouflet offers, I have one and I struggle to find a good Injector bowl that works well with it.

Either of the XLs will be more different for you than the CV2. The CV2 is a very nice upgrade I think, but the XLs are really, really good. They're a little easier to roast than the convectors, they can work as a bowl for the Injector, etc. The Ceramo is a beautiful vape that I really enjoy. It would be my recommendation as the more different experience. The CV2 is also really nice, as is the CXL (which I think is Camouflet's best vape so far).

There are probably better bowls but it works just fine with the CXL.

EDIT: Just tried the Ceramo with the Injector and that's just about as nice as the CXL!

Yes I had thought so, so the cXL it is!

Thank you for the reply, I have been playing around with my Inductor heating my Injector on max watts 27.9 for 10 seconds 3 times in a row.

I went to heat my Tornado (which I use 25 watts 10 sec on the ‘atomizer’ 10 seconds on top) and forgot to lower the power on the Inductor and combusted just now lol

Nice! Bet you'll love it.

That's how I do too. Are you using the new head/core?

I don't know that I've ever tried my Tornado with the Inducto yetr...I do know I combust just about every time with the Thermocore! : }

The cXL will be the icing on the cake for me :)

I scooped up a factory seconds about 2 weeks ago it came with the new f core head.

Finally got the Hyperdyn down pat, 18 seconds on max 27.9, 5 seconds after 2nd click with a 0.1 tamped bowl.

Oh yeah am very baked rn, forgot to lower the power 😂

Nice. I just picked up the new head. It's a little different, takes a bit longer to heat. Not a problem really, especially if it's more durable.

I'll have to try this. Do you have the Thermal cap?

Lol. I keep forgetting, I need to update my list of voltages. Sounds like something from the bible, doesn't it?

"Kneel, please, for a reading from the List of Voltages."

I’m gonna order a new core replacement for my THC cap that comes with the SS balls for use with my Inductor!

I find when I use my Inductor (am ‘heavy’ user) it gets very warm with repeated use.

Still messing around with the Voltages for different vapes, I find my Lotus likes the Inductor around 25 watts but still gotta watch for combustion.

draw speed sensitivity is nature of the beast for all convectors.
Sorry for double post/reply mods, but yes draw speed definitely a major factor, not as brainless as other vaporizers.

How do you find the V2 pairs with the CXL? worth it to have both? My v1 slaps but I have to fill the bowl about half way every time.

Nail on the head here. The convectors are all about how you load it, how much heat you get in that initial wand/torch, and how you match the draw speed. I used to try to OHE them but they are much better as engines that you get up and running.

The v1 I straw load a loose pack and then get a little more in, using a fingertip to spin and tamp it just below the head. 8-10s initial, 6-8s reheat with torch, also torching the head a little before the cap. 10s initial, draw to pull heat, back in for 5s and active hitting with the wand.

The V2 I only use the wand. It likes the same fine grind, a full loose pack but no tamp. 7-8s initial and 4-5s reheat usually going 2 seconds past the disks vibrating.

Both cases I stop hitting based on the heat I'm feeling, rather than vapor. I'm getting better, smoother flavor with better effects for me with the V1 and V2.

A year ago I couldn't imagine putting down the baller and now it's been in my cabinet for two weeks 🤷‍♂️ and I'm happy and almost offended at how effective a .1-.15 is

I don't regret getting the XL, I'd want it if I didn't have it and it's there for when I need it 😁
