Buying First Vape

So I'm looking to get my first vape and I'm not 100% sure what to get. I want something that is portable (can fit in my pocket), can vape dry herbs, has decent battery life, and preferably under $150. I was looking at the T-Vape but I wanted to hear other peoples' opinions.

check out the solo and also the pinnacle pro gets a lot of praise too (personally never tried the latter) but my fave portable is the solo.

btw what's the tvape? thermovape? I liked mine but after a while I found the battery changing and size of bowl didn't cut it for me anymore.

ty man, I am off to check it out. so far, it seems about the same price as a solo i htink. the rolling the herbs in paper part is weird...

to save to a lil time Ill do up a tldr for the solo for ya. (its been out a few years now, so you can say this is a tried and true portable vape)

it's battery powered, can't be used while charging, but only take about 1.5h to charge it. I never notice as an inconvenience personally.

sadly it's not the most stealthy, but i am willing to make that trade off for it's performance.

it uses a glass stem to load your herbs, and hit it from. I can be used with a GonG adapter for bong use. there is also an upgraded stem offered from Planetvape and if you get this it highly suggest you buy this stem too. made a night and day difference for me. Arizer should just sell the PV stems in all honesty.

I think of it as a log vape made portable. it hits the strongest of any portable I have tried to date. taste is also quite good.

there is a 12 min auto shut off feature to save you batteries. personally a session for me lasts 2 stems or about 30 min. w/e comes first.

The solo seems great but it seems a little too bulky for my pocket and I fear that the glass stem could break in my pocket

I hear ya man, yeah i don't carry mine in my pocket either. as for the stem the PV ones come in a plastic test tube witha top, if you use a mflb battery cap on the stem, you can roll with it loaded and ready to go.

but if you want to put this in your pocket I think your right to look at other vapes too.

btw the Tvape looks neat! do you smoke tobacco? I could see giving this to my friends in an effort to get em off smoking all together!

Hey bro, the mflb is a great vape especially if you get a power adapter. Then you can use it at home freely and outside with battery it can be stealth.

lol, ok I expected it to be about 0.1 (my scale will only do 1/10th of a gram minimum.

well the load wouldn't even register. 2 laads made it say .1g though. so about 0.05g per bowl. im surprised it's that little, it doesn't seem like 20 of them per gram of herb... haha maybe it's just the memory effect here. :p

solo can be had for $119 if you find a deal btw. the stem from PV costs 25 though. totally worth it! if you buy a solo I think you need a PVHES (planet vape high effecenty stem) honestly. i do not work for em or make money saying this of course. :)

Enhanced airflow for easier extraction. Don't get me wrong, stock the Solo performs quite well. With the PVHES you get better airflow so things can happen quicker. The Solo is fine as it is, the PVHES enhances the experience.

I can comfortably fit .15g in my stems. I haven't experimented with much more yet.

regarding 0.15 in yours, how fine your grind is would totally affect that. so I could understand the variance. also explains why I expected it to be higher too. the stuff I have atm is NL crossed with blueberry, and it's got large calyxes with fluffy bud structure.

Have you looked at the Firewood, or Hammer.

Also compared to smoking there is no smell (but no really there is a smell to be wary about), but most likely having the bowl/herb out will be the biggest smell dealer.

Most likely the smell will be exactly like the plant smelled but it doesn't linger like smoke. A smokebuddy sometimes feels like an overkill but that can be a good thing.

Also its a misconception that some vapes have "less smell" than others. Vaped herb is vaped herb. Granted some units can produce more vapor than others... but is that a BAD thing?

Point being it'll smell however a lot less than a pipe... and it wont stick around as long.

True, but I think that it's fair to say that a Pax is smellier than, say, a coil vapor genie. More visible vapor = more smell is the main thing though.

+1 for the lotus as well

The hammer vape might be in that range as well.

Massdrop has deals all the time , PNP , lotus , solos, many many more have been had for a great discount on massdrop.
