Getting first Fusion 2.0 and know I need a bigger torch. I see some that go up to 1300 degrees and others up to 2500 degrees. Do I need a torch that goes up to 2500 for optimal performance?

I don't think so. You'll never heat the device to those high temps. Bigger and smaller torches just get you there faster or slower. Too big a torch may actually be a detriment to learning the new device. I'd say use whatever you already have to start and then optimize from there.

Pinpoint double is best IMO. You don't need anything huge for the fusion 2, unlike the dani. A small pocket torch has plenty of power, though you may want something that has a larger fuel tank.
Following @maremaresing's comments on a double, this is probably one of the most cost effective options. Reliable, cheap, fuel window, flint ignition. What's not to love? The three version also works well. The 4 flame is complete overkill and only holds about 4 cycles with the Fusion 2, but impressive in company
