Then I'm not standing down. It's WRONG. The police officer (the one sure he had his 'Breaking Bad') asked me "do you have marijuana in there?"
"No" (like I'm going to say yes?!)
"Do you have cocaine in in there?"
I stare at him like he's out of his mind
"No!"
"Do you have heroin in there?"
"NO"
"Do you have methamphetamine in there?"
By this time I think he's not only completely insane, but I'm disgusted to an nth degree
"NO!!!" and I glare at him.
"Oh" and now he's all excited, "so you think marijuana is ok?"
Well, the gig was up. I turned to him and simply said,
"Yes, I do".

When dealing with police you are not required to answer any questions.
Upon request, show police your driver's license, registration and proof of insurance, that's it.

When you talk to police you are providing information to incriminate yourself.

Good videos but I personally will not be implementing this method. This could also lead to increased harassment in my opinion. Personally im really polite unless they take it to a different level (like they did for @samantabha), but if they are just stopping me for a light being out why would I want to give them a card which would make them look at me more closely? If they ask can I search your vehicle of course im going to say no (what I have gained from videos like yours), and I will ask if I am free to go (again from those videos)

Getting stopped for a valid reason like a light out or speeding isn't what this card thing is about, It's more about check points when they pull people over indiscriminately to ask you questions with no provocation or obvious reason.

Well same applies there as well. While I might disagree with being stopped with no probable cause, I'm not going to try the card suggestion there either. Again I rather not stick out.

Guess we all have to use our judgment for the best way of handling these situations

Edit: I see what you mean, after you are pulled aside at a checkpoint, then it would make alot more sense. The video was showing it in all types of situations

That's my opinion too.
Technically, you could show the card immediately but I'd guess that would really piss off LEO and
they'd go out of their way to mess with you in any way possible.
Be pleasant but if they start getting into asking to search, say that you're uncomfortable with that and if they still lean on you----card 'em

Something to be on the look out for, is the compound question. Usually along the lines of, "You don't have anything illegal in the car, so you don't mind if I have a look?". When someone answers "No" to the first part of the question, it gives them the consent needed to search.
