My new toy arrived, a MFLB plus Orbiter!
I'm still trying to get the hand of the MFLB, but the Orbiter is ripping with my OG Vapcap. Unfortunately, there's a narrower ridge of glass at the bottom of the Orbiter's joint that stops my DDave water wand from seating properly so I have to stick an adapter in for that and I don't want to.
I'm also not too keen on the whip, I prefer all glass.
So I stuck my other DDave wand in as a mouthpiece and that actually works great but it's a little short, no problem for baldy me but anyone with hair is close to burning it on the vapcap tip, kept looking and I went right down the rabbit hole for a couple of hours.
This is what I found as a potential mouthpiece, the B14 size should fit into 14mm joints right?
'Joint, cone, simple' £1.47

There's a lot of stuff on there though...so I kept looking at all the shiny glass and saw what looks like an Orbiter without a downstem. Comes in 100ml, same size as the Orbiter or 250/500/1000/2000ml.
Round bottom flask with 2 necks, 24mm top joint, 14mm side joint. £8.21

I'm thinking, all that's needed is a showerhead downstem that fits into one of those flasks and you have a £10 Orbiter minus the stand, that comes completely apart for cleaning. A cork ring for £2 works for a stand.
Thoughts? I've had a little look at downstems but I don't know what height would be needed.
P.S.
If you like using hoses, you can get an adaptor that fits although this site seems expensive for it compared to the other bits, I've spent too long looking through glass sites already though tonight.
Adaptor, 14mm Cone, Rubber tubing, Straight £5.17
