Be sure you guys are taking pictures of this stuff and posting it on here. A quick camera pic would be great. Especially if its bellowing smoke like mentiined before lol.

If youre just deciding to get this vape, obviously wait until a new shipment arrives.

Important Information regarding your Boundless Tera

Hello!

Over the weekend it was brought to our attention that there have been multiple reports of off-gassing and unpleasant smells coming from several Tera Vaporizers. We tested a brand new Tera this afternoon and we observed visible off-gassing as well.

We are in touch with Boundless and currently waiting for more information on the scope of this problem. Your health and safety are extremely important to us, so we are asking that you refrain from using your device and return it to our warehouse. We will be sending you a prepaid USPS label tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, we would like to offer you a few options on how we can proceed.

We would be more than happy to help you find a different vaporizer that suits your needs. If you would like to exchange for a different unit we would like to offer you a 20% discount on any vape that we carry.

If not, we can issue you a full refund on your order.

We will keep you updated as we know more, Boundless will be conducting their own tests this week as well.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions. We are very sorry for this inconvenience and hope we can work together to make this right for you!

Someone just bought it and the rest are warning the poor guy about the melting mouthpiece (which also happened to me twice before I got rid of it). Boundless keeps selling them, which is a shame because they are selling a product that is bound to break. And now, a similar thing is happening with the Tera. Way to go Boundless! You deserve this shaming.. maybe for you next device you will finally learn?

There is a cfc dedicated forum and theyve come out with new mouth pieces. Thank you for the updateon the recall but your needless bashing is getting kind of annoying. This thread needs to document the problems and filling them with boundless sucks and the like is not conducive to a good environment. Your opinion is welcomed. We get you dont like them. A lot of us are pretyupset about it but lets moveon and be adults shall we?

You seem to respect Boundless more than they respect you, it's ironic really. I am hoping that Boundless is reading this, maybe this well deserved criticism will serve as a wake up call for them to test their devices before they sell them to the public. But then again, if they read your messages.. they will realize they have fanboys who don't mind lack of QC and inhaling plastic, who'll keep forgiving their mistakes and and buy the next device, all while defending them against those who do care. So yeah no wonder it this happens again with the next device

Ok so mine only off gassed for a bout a minute then it totally stopped. The smell and taste was gone after I loaded it and blew through the bottom for 2 sessions. I used it last night and I absolutely loved it. But to be honest I’m not sure what I should think or do about it. Hell this thing even vaped full nugs like a true champ.
All I know is it would be a shame if they can’t get this all figured out.

This is exactly how it should go. Glad you got a good one.
Exactly why we shouldnt throw them in the fire yet. This is an amazing vape. One bad shipment does not make a bad company.

Off gassing is not a new thing and thats how it went with your unit is how its supposed to go. A little off gassing then iits over.

These are words that every consumer likes to hear not "Once our technician has looked at your unit, we'll be able to let you know how much we can offer in store credit"
That's what I call customer service at it's finest!!!

Here’s some pics, there’s no breaks, constant stream of this. I’m not trying to shame Boundless by any means. I loved my CFV. I hope this gets fixed because a working Tera will be awesome.

Edit: this is from the second burn-off. I have not blown into the intake of this unit but I did with my first one and plumes of these fumes would shoot out.

Not only that gassy stench but the rubber underneath the mouthpieces gives off a nasty taste.

I think we can all probably agree that this is not a good look for Boundless. The CFC issues mentioned, while rectified, still happened - which I think in this case is probably a valid point to bring up. After all, this is stuff people are potentially inhaling, and that's not cool. I'm hoping that this encourages Boundless to more thoroughly test new models before public release.

At this point I feel like all this isn't so much "bashing" Boundless. More like calling them out, sure. But not bashing. This stuff is super important with these kinds of devices.

Way to step up PuffItUp! It’s obviously not ur fault. I feel bad that I’m gonna have to send back my 2nd unit as well. I mentioned in my first exchange I was willing to wait until a reliable shipment of Tera’s came in but that was before anyone really knew the scope of it I guess. Thanks for being an upstanding company!

If I understand it correctly, Boundless was the first to stop selling while they started looking into it. They simultaneously empowered the retailers to do as they saw fit, which led to the recalls. I see no fault in anyone’s response so far.
