i definitely noticed a smell at first but we've all smelt it before with new vape s, packaging, New silicone, plastic smell and I'm not concerned and it may not be something u "burn off" anyways. My first load was a conduction test, so it was sort of a burn off and my material was pretty much the same when it came out of the chamber after the 5 min auto shut-off with no draws at 356f. There can't be much, if any Conduction going on at the lower temps but there may be more with the S&B Capsules. I did notice a smell and taste, mostly with the swivel mp but it's basically disappeared completely now and the taste is top notch.
I put some serious loads through the Tera, both with the S&B Capsules and without and my results were quite amazing. First off, the Tera a hits like a Conduction vape, in the sense that you get vapor immediately and it's ez to get, unlike some Convection vapes. You don't need to draw long or fast and I get vapor on the first draw and I was getting clouds at 330f! The temp feels right though, maybe a little hotter but it's nothing like the CFV, where you had to use 400f and draw your brains out for vapor. Tera doesn't seem very picky either, how you pack The chamber or grind but I'm gonna do more testing on grinds and amounts today. The draw has improved drastically and there are no air leaks, unlike the CFV. The Tera rips! As I mentioned, the smell has gone away, not exactly sure of the source, most likely just "new" parts/material smell but the flavor is quite amazing now, especiAlly with the glass mp. The glass is hotter and maybe slightly more free flowing but you can basically puff, puff this vape instead of really long draws, which is awesome and the vapor is thick but has been very comfortable and smooth but I didn't go beyond 370f with any of my loads last night.
I probably put in around 7-10 chambers through the Tera, each till the auto shut-off kicked in (5min) between 330f and 370f. Heat up time was fast, probably around 30seconds to 350f. I am charging up again now but I could have got more loads on that charge. My ABV was surprisingly even and pretty well done by 5min and 10 or so draws. Occasionally, the ABV was fresher nearest the edge of the chamber but i never stirred. Filled the chamber loose to the top and after, my material had "shrunk," so I know I'm pulling a lot of ingredients out of my material and that heater has to be a beast! I also had great ABV with the S&B Capsules, which sit just a tad high but the MP's were secure enough magnetically and they worked very nice, although you can't use the "extra" chamber screens with the Capsules and they aren't needed. you can also use those capsules without the tops and just attach it to the end of the mp/screen and they kinda hold on to the Silicone but you have to use a little less material.Looking forward to more testing today!
