Really curious about this. I don't expect the battery time to be good, but it's really interesting...

So friggin excited for this thing, if it vapes as well as the Pax 1, then I'm happy. For that preorder price, it's a steal.

And can I just say the teardrop design is really sexy?

Hello FC Community, unfortunately our shipment date for the CFC has been further delayed. We would like to release this statement as an apology for those involved in the CFV pre-orders and Planet of the Vapes CFC pre-order.

Boundless Technology would like to apologize for this delay in getting the CFC to your hands. Planet of the Vapes was given a set date, but unforeseen circumstances have caused a delay in getting the Boundless CFC shipment into their hands. Many customers were expecting their CFC before Christmas, unfortunately Boundless Technology is not going be able to uphold this expectation. We aimed to provide a smooth pre-order for Planet of the Vapes and their customers however with regret, we were not able to deliver on our expected shipping date due to delays in quality control at our manufacturing factory. Quality control has been doing their best to deliver a reliable and efficient product. Extra time was needed to guarantee that the CFC will be providing an overall experience that is up to date with the latest in battery and aromatherapy technology. All of us at Boundless take pride in our products and customer satisfaction. We do our best to provide the vaporizer community with devices to make the experience more comfortable and interactive. Unfortunately we were not able to provide the CFC pre-order customers and our partner in this pre-order, Planet of the Vapes, a noteworthy experience and in no intentions meant to provide false claims. We thank you for your support and will do our best to satisfy those involved in the CFC pre-order.

Our sincerest apologies,
The Boundless Technology team

If you guys have any questions please feel free to email me at eric@bndlstech.com

12 to 15 Bowls per Charge

Isn't it more "up to 15 x 4 minute sessions in a row"? Which anyways seem overly optimistic for a single cell vape having only 1900mAh advertised.

They also claim 40 minutes continuous at max temp for the CFV and SwiftPro, but you can't make a single bowl last that long. So in practice with the cooling + re-heating between bowls you get much less.

I think the battery was changed for a 2200mAh. Mines not coming till the new year though :(

Interestingly we only know two 2500mAh LG cells (HE2/HE4) but no 2200mAh one. But there are no 1900mAh LG cells either so... (one 2000mAh the HD2 and two 2100mAh the HD2C and HD4)

I absolutly love the price range we're seeing with a lot of these intro level vaporizers. Not everything should have to start at $150 or much higher. Hats off to the Boundless team.
I agree. Conduction vape, nothing startling new in terms of tech that I could see, but they hit a GREAT price point of $89 which is super.

Yes indeed....all decently good vapes don't have to be $150 and up (way up) and tech should not be the only design driver. Clearly these guys know their market and went for a price sensitive segment with the CFC.

Cheers

What do you guys think the CF offers over the CFC for its higher price? Or should one considering the CF opt for the cheaper CFC?

Judging from the pictures of the CF and the CFC it appears the vapor from the CFC would be hotter due to the short length of the vapor path.

If my CFC ever gets here I will be able to check the temp of the exiting vapor.

Can anyone compare this to PAX2? How much dry herb you can fit in the oven? What is the minimum amount for good results?

I had some email authentication problems because this site won't confirm gmail accounts. So I couldn't even revert to the email address I was already using on here... had to create a yahoo account...makes sense. lol

So, my thoughts on the CFC are not good, unfortunately. I currently have a MFLB and a Daisy vaporizer. I used to own an Extreme Q and have used a Crafty. Just some info on what I'm used to.

My CFC gets very hot around the bowl area - too hot to touch. This might be ok, except the vapor path is very short and the vapor is very hot - even at temps below 400. If the mouthpiece was different, it might cool the vapor more. But it's pretty cheap plastic.

To answer a question - I don't have a scale, but I think I measured the MFLB oven size at 0.15g. If that is correct, the CFC oven is approximately 0.25-0.3g. But I think Boundless said it was twice that, at a half gram or so. I filled it with finely ground material and packed it slightly to determine this. But since the holes in the oven are pretty big, I used a regular grind when I turned it on to vape.

I have watched the Boundless livestreams and I like the team there - they seem like good guys. But I'm going to have to return this to POTV. I contacted them about 6 days ago and have not heard back. Anyone else experience the same?

Just got my cfc, which came with my cfv pre-order. I have to say first bowl imlression is that this is an awesome vape. It is super portable, heats up super fast, and the taste isn't bad at all. Draw resistance is very light, and the clouds are impressive. I seriously wouldn't feel bad about paying full price for this thing, even if msrp were more. Awesome machine

I received mine yesterday. I noticed a loose screen at the bottom of the oven. In the video they don't show it. This screen is larger than the one in the mouth piece. I have contacted POV about this and will wait for their reply prior to using.

That loose screen at the bottom of the oven is held in place when the oven ring and bowl top are screwed in. Are you saying your screen falls out of place even with the rings and bowl top installed?
