Pen Boundless CF-710

I had a weekend destination wedding to go to and hadn't used this in awhile so I decided to take it along. I was using a small pen vape and wanted to get much higher much faster so I used this instead. My coil might be dying a little, but it still works great. Little awkward to use in public, but it's good for doing large amounts quickly.

Kind of a tangent but I let my friend's combuster significant other try it and he said "Mmmmmmm, interesting..." with a look and I kind of pressed him and he said it was "very ghetto, but it worked". He puts his material in a rock, lights it on fire, inhales the smoke, and mine is ghetto? Reminded me of a combuster friend of mine who said my sticky brick had a "vaporiser taste" to it.

Anyways, I don't love this thing, but I really like it. I'm pretty impressed every time I use it. A couple minor gripes, but really glad I bought it still.

I connect mine directly to the Pinnacle water tool with 6in silicon tube whip or
direct with bushing, sucks everything in sight & really cools it down, eats thru wax

I have to admit it's been a long time since I used it, thought I don't have anything bad to say about it really. The flavor wasn't amazing, but it was a really good. It's unbelievably easy to use, it's a hot straw. The battery life was good, I never really pushed it though. Sometimes it would get a little plugged, but I'd just blow into it when it was warm and vape whatever came out. It's small and has a good cap. Though I will say I never gave it a thorough cleaning, only the atomizer end.

Well that settles it, I'm breaking it out this weekend. Actually it'll be perfect to use in my car really quick before I go watch hockey games.

My apologies for the late reply and thank you for the support! There have been some bumps with promoting the unit, but it seems like we are good now after sending out our patents. We are actually getting ready to do a promotion with HighTimes featuring the CF 710 and we are planning to lower the retail price to $74.99 USD in the next few days. An email is getting prepared to be sent out to our buyers regarding this. In the middle of typing this we received our shipment with our stock units and accessories. There have been discussions on how to improve the CF 710 and the addition of adjustable temperature or preset temps have come up. We would also like to implement some sort of glass dome that will sit on top of the unit for a better experience with the water pipe adapter. There have also been talks to add additional coils to the lineup as well and I would like to see more quartz options personally.

To be honest, the CF 710 is the unit that is used the most within the Boundless team. Whether it is a quick hit during a break or out and about. We also believe that this is a great device for microdosing concentrates and a great device for those needing quick relief as the CF 710 can vape THC/CBD isolate. Wow, I consider the flavour to be AMAZEBALLS! But technique may have something to do with it. Seriously, raw without water filtration, just do quick little dabs where you pulse the material to the coil. You have to make sure your coil is CLEAN, as is the rest of the vape. The coil builds reclaim like no tomorrow. I wish I could get into it.

Sometimes it would get a little plugged, but I'd just blow into it when it was warm and vape whatever came out.

I've been doing that for deep cleans. I do the burn off, and the blow through the back until no more gross reclaim vapour comes out. It's amazing how much oil can seep out of the coil!

I'll have to see what my opinion on the taste is again after I try it this weekend. Back then I was doing really cheap shatters and crumbles, now I do slightly less cheap diamond sauces that taste way better and vape much cleaner. That could end up making a big difference, I should clean it first too. I don't think I used it quite right either, I tended to just rub it into a big glob over and over.

Hmmm, you talking about the quartz inserts made me think it would actually make a really good container to vape out of. I think that's one thing that's missing, the perfect container to use. Something with concave bottom and no corners the coil can't get into that's made of glass or quartz or something. I have a couple good little shallow glass containers, they all have annoying corners though.

Genius! This worked AMAZINGLY!! Just dropped a dab into the quartz insert, normal rice grain sized. And the CF710 fits perfectly! Easily twist and turn the insert, and I had the biggest thickest rip yet! It just leaves a thin smear of your dab, but drop that in a banger and you're good to go for a tasty uptemp!

You can try just using it on a dabber too, works pretty good for micros! I'm so medicated from using mine! It's just like a high temp torch dab, without the the torch nor the bong!

@biohacker: it’s nice to hear from you, sorry for the late response. I still use my CF-710, just not very often because I’m using mostly flower now and not much concentrates. When I do use concentrates though I go for high end terpy ‘trates and they taste amazing with the quartz coil. The ceramic coil still tastes great, just not as pure. I use the ceramic for the big rips, and quartz for flavor hits.

The big downside of the unit to me is it can go through material quickly but I don’t necessarily find it wasteful. I enjoy microdosing with it off of a dabber as well, it is very efficient when used like this. The coils do build up reclaim fast, especially when you’re taking large rips. Keeping them clean is relatively easy as noted and it does keep them tasting great.

@StormyPinkness: you got me thinking and I bet a @JyARz Chico is exactly what you’re looking for. I might get one myself!

Yes they are! I have a a couple Satchmos but I never saw a personal need for a Chico... until now.

It really is! I prefer to use mine native, without water, and it’s ridiculously convenient. Which is probably why I use “too much” material.

The ease of use is one of my favorite features of the CF-710, but it’s also the biggest issue in a weird way lol. It makes it hard to resist the temptation to overindulge...
