The Solo can be had for $120-$135 if you look hard enough. Been that way for two years.
The Alfa appears to be very stealthy, perhaps the most stealthy vape I've seen that can produce clouds that dense. It is a vape you can pre-pack without having a stem protruding out of the unit. The Alfa seems to be more messy and difficult to pack and unpack, as there is no way to remove the bowl. You have to hold the access panel on the bottom open while holding the unit upside down to load the bowl. On larger bowls, the herb sticks to the underside of the lid, which makes it messy I bet.
The solo has a big heater, big battery, and removable glass stem. Simply dip the stem into your grinder. Then grab your unit and place stem onto heater. In a moving vehicle, it would be a task to load an Alfa upside down, while holding access panel open, while holding both pieces of grinder. I can load a Solo stem blindfolded on a bumpy back road without spilling. I can also pop out the herb and do a quick stir in the palm of my hand and suck it back into the stem, which instantly and evenly loads the bowl. Impossible in an Alfa.
