Bigger Bags = More Vapor?

What do you all think of this idea? It seems right, but I'd like some 2nd and 3rd opinions:

While making our video of the 10 foot bag of vapor, we realized that -- besides being awesome -- the 10 ft bag also meant that we only had to fill it once instead of 5 times. However, 10 ft is a lot of vapor and the 10 ft balloon can get unwieldy when full, so we began experimenting with somewhat smaller sizes. During our experimentation we realized that using the bigger bag is not only easier it is also more efficient because you waste less vapor. Think about whenever you attach the Solid or Easy Valve on to the Volcano or take it them. There is always a little lost vapor; however, with the bigger bag you are taking the valve on and off the Volcano valve fewer total times per filling chamber, which maximizes your vapor by eliminating waste.

it depends on how much herb you use and wat temp/speed u use, you could be geting the equivalent of 5 full balloons worth of vape, or just 3 diluted balloons worth, and i bet itd take forever to fill (talking from the perspective of the extreme, i dont know about the cano)

id rather have higher quality, then have to refill a couple times
i guess a 10 foot baloon would be pretty badass in party situations

then again im more of a whip person anyway

I do like Experiments, even if they r a bit out there i saw a guy with a cano in a little clear plastic tent zipped up sitting in there, crazy too, but made me think why not a small sauna like i saw the other day @ bunnings hardware for about $1500.00 it would be sick using a bag whip & no bag a cheaper alterative could be the car thanx to the Extreme and battery 12 volt, this post remind's me of the indian smoking ceremony i very briefly noticed in a doco once, Small enclosed area's can be fun for something different it's all laughing & stop stop &shit

I think different sized bags for different occasions are a great idea. I do that with my herbalAire. I also think the amount of vapor lost in switching from one bag to another is very small. I know it is for me. If the 'cano takes longer to switch than the 2 seconds it takes on the herbalAire, you can always turn the pump off. I only do that when I need to remove a bag and don't have another ready to immediately install.

I was doing the same with my herbal air .....I was also switching bag realy fast (like hit one during the second filling ) and still do the same with my extreme ...so I dont understang why having big bag is better ....I dont realy find any other positive thing to a bigger bag exept if you wanna look like the coolest guy in town in a party with a 5 foot pimpy bag full of vap ? ...I 'll probably be shy with a 5-10foot bag ....dont wanna look like some one who try to compensate for his small dick LOLL ( sorry I'm just jokin in waitin of the vapedcrusader reply)

dont get me wrong , I like big bag ....full of MJ in my closet LOLLL but on my vap a lil 1.5foot bag seem ok

I'm not buying this efficiency bullshit. The only claim for efficiency is that you don't lose any vapor switching bags.

What about all the time that vapor is sitting in the bag condensing while it is waiting to be inhaled?

After watching the video, they used a bag that has an enormous amount of surface area, thus more area for condensation. If I were going to use a bigger bag, I would use one with a greater radius, thus reducing surface area.

How do you know when to switch out the chamber to get maximum vapor without ruining the taste?

I think this is just a ploy to get people to check out their website. Not very scientific. Keep moving folks...nothing to see here.

More efficient? Not IMO. Like sticks said, more condensation, oxidation, etc.

Is the Volcano itself an efficient vaporizer? Now there's a better question.

Yeah, but it would have to be a bag made for vaporizing, not just an oven bag. And it would have to be tapered at the ends (one at least) so you wouldn't lose size by having to bunch up the bag to tie it closed.

I was thinking like you be I realize this is just a question of inside temp. in the bowl .....IMO to me to proove that herbi is more efficient than other we need to test the temp. inside the bowl with a ( dont know the hell how you calling the take use to take temperature LOL thermometer ??) .Cause just take the exeple of the extreme ...the temp on the digi is not = to the bowl temp ....so maybe herbie is'nt egal too ....but IMO herbie have probably the same temp on the controle that in the bowl because of the way it is make .....so much question !!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to these replies -- on vacation in Maine for the week.

Doesn't seem like many of you think I'm onto something:/, but that's all good because I'm enjoying the empirical results myself.

You do waste vapor when you change bags, you can't argue that point. So even if it's only a little, less bag changes = more vapor. However, this is not the main reason I think the big bag is more efficient.

When you run the Volcano (or herbalAire) you're supposed to wait a few seconds for the active ingredients to begin vaporizing cuz it takes a few seconds for the hot air to warm them up. But when you turn off the pump, all the herb cools down again and you have to re-heat it for the next bag. With one bag you just heat up once with no cooling and reheating

I think that in all this reheating/cooling so of the active chemicals are lost. I know food and buddha have nothing in common, but reheated food is never as good as fresh cooked. Unless it's soup, but that's a different story.

I don't let my vapor sit around. I generally take it down in a minute or two.

1 filling chamber on the Volcano will give you 10 ft of vapor.

I think i may be right for the lil heating time ...it make sence .....but I also agree with stickstones hitting a 10 feet bag in a minut ...hummmm....anyway did anywone remember what rockwise was telling about keeping the vap inside for like 22 sec by puff to get the maximum of your vap (and I think he is right ).....soo the bag will sit for to long ....humm ....but I hahah I just imagine how long it could take to fill a 10 feed bag with the herbie HAHAHAHH probably more than an hour no joke and just dont imagine me waiting a 10 feet bag ...LOLLL 10 FEET !!

full bowl in'st as efficient as a half bowl ...half bowl will make 2-3 bag if the herb is dry , findly grind and low heated as possible and more potent as possible ...and the bag are maybe 16 inch long...

It actually takes me about 5 min, but the 10 footer is really a party bag. I use a 4 footer for personal use. And that I do take down in a minute.
